No, it isn’t Trump turning Cruz supporters against Cruz. It is Cruz supporters turning Trump supporters against Cruz with their nasty attitude.

Most will probably go to Carson at this point.

Not that at all.

People are looking at Trump going out there and fighting the fight, and taking the risks. Even Carson has done his share.

Then they see Cruz virtually out of arena. Letting these guys take the hits, make the big moves, and push the narrative.

In the end Cruz supporters are growing a bit impatient, and want to back the person that is doing the grunt work, not to kick him to the crub.

I think Cruz seems to think(?) Trump is a novelty that is just holding his seat for him. He cannot assume this just because he ranks higher on a most conservative check list.

What I observe are a LOT of FReepers are clearly stating they support Cruz first, but it comes down to DJT as the nominee, they will vote for him in the general election.

There is a small minority of FReepers that are lined up ready to nominate DJT, even if he is in the middle of an eminent domain lawsuit to take their house from them for a casino parking lot. They tend to fault Cruz in spite of themselves.

I support Donald Trump, I love Senator Cruz, and I love Gov. Walker. But I don't think there can ever be a Cruz or Walker presidency if Trump is not president first. The GOPe has to be removed, and only Trump can do that. If the GOPe wins and Trump is not the nominee we will find ourselves with Bush, or maybe even Lindsey Graham, shoved down our throats, and then of course, President Hillary and the continued cursed presence of the corrupt communist apparatchik currently running this country. I support Trump for this reason; as much as I love Cruz (and I think most people who support Trump feel this way.) We believe that it is President Trump or the fall of this once great nation. I wish, Mr. Carraway, you would spend a little time considering this possibility instead of spending your time thinking up new ways to insult Mr. Trump.

No, I disagree. Cruz did a lot of that himself by voting for cloture on TPA and voting for the Corker bill to abrogate the Constitutional treaty process this year. I do not know about other people but I am also disappointed by his stated desire to expand the H1-B visa program by 500%. None of those things are because of Trump.
