Former British Prime Minister Tony Blair was committed to joining the United States in the Iraq war a year before the 2003 invasion, documents obtained by a Sunday newspaper suggested.
The revelations focus on a memo allegedly written by former U.S. secretary of state Colin Powell on March 28, 2002 to then president George Bush a week before the U.S. leaders meeting with Blair at his ranch in Crawford, Texas.
On Iraq, Blair will be with us should military operations be necessary, wrote Powell, in a document the Mail on Sunday published on its website.

Blair/Bush spend 1 year of diplomacy at the UN compared to the rush to war of Noble Peace Prize Winner Obama who spend no time at congress or un before bombing a nation
Not exactly new info. And not exactly the best source. Bush has been vindicated on the WMD charges, what is the point, to say someone planned something ahead? What’s the big deal?
Blair said he would be with the US should military action be necessary. There is nothing in that quote that says Blair or Bush were predisposed to war.
Some people are just liars or they just don’t understand English.
We told the world we were going to Iraq for 18 months before we went so Blair didn’t get on board until 6 months into the effort. By the way, Bush got permission from Congress and the UN before going not like what happened in Libya which is a true war crime.
Also 18 months is a lot of time to dispose of WMDs and prepare defenses.
Why were 2002 classified memos from Powell to Bush on Hillary’s email server? Was she looking to did up dirt?
err “did” = “dig”
The UK and the French supplied most of the initial intel....both were gung ho about going to war.
Nick, standby for incoming! I was amazed at the responses I got when I posted the original Mail article.

No one even noticed that this was a smoking gun that Hillary was lying when she said that none of the emails on her server were marked classified at the time they were sent. This was an attachment to an email that was marked SECRET/NOFORN at the time it was sent.
So Powell says “ Blair will be with us should military operations be necessary”. I don’t see the issue. “should military ops be necessary!”
That was my first thought.
BINGO!
