In recent years, many top-selling brands including the 195-year-old Remington Arms, as well as Bushmaster Firearms and DPMS, leading makers of military-style semiautomatics have quietly passed into the hands of a single private company. It is called the Freedom Group and it is the most powerful and mysterious force in the American commercial gun industry today.
Never heard of it?

In the realm of consumer rifles and shotguns long guns, in the trade it is unrivaled in its size and reach. By its own count, the Freedom Group sold 1.2 million long guns and 2.6 billion rounds of ammunition in the 12 months ended March 2010, the most recent year for which figures are publicly available.

Looks like it is "making money".
The private equity group behind it has a history of buying undervalued assets, and developing them.
Technology is making it impossible for them to control guns by controlling manufacturers. Soon, anyone that wants one can be a manufacturer.
Huh?
The principals involved in the company are gun guys. Some have extensive collections of guns.
Soros will not be a part of the company.

Usually blamed on Auto-correct.
This BS has been debunked long ago. Dan Quayle is on the board of Directors of Freedom Group. The myth that its owner Cerebus being owned by Soros is just untrue. I researched this 2 years ago and its BS.
bkmk
You have the majority of the firearm industry owned by one group.
Then, you don’t have to to ban guns, just get control over that group.
George Soros..again!
