On Tuesday night’s Hannity show, Trump expressed concern for the direction in which the panel’s hearings are heading in the wake of comments by Committee Chair Rep. Trey Gowdy, R-S.C., that the investigation was not focused on Hillary Clinton.
“Yesterday, I watched Trey, who I do respect, I think he is a terrific guy, but he seemed to be doing a big pivot,” Trump said. “He said, ‘Well, this isn’t about Hillary Clinton.’ You know, I’m pretty good at figuring this stuff out.”
Clinton has claimed the Benghazi investigation is aimed at tarnishing her political future, pointing to comments by House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., and other Republicans. Gowdy has insisted his goal is to uncover the full truth about the 2012 attacks that left four Americans dead.

Yes it was, and he is good at figuring things out, he didn’t get to where he was by being stupid....
The spineless sissies in Washington D.C. wouldn’t know a good deal if it hit them in the face...they are so self centered on how much money they are going to get....
Notice Trump follows what is going on in Congress and is already building relationships and guiding members.

The day of the attack the Obama Administration, and the State Department, knew this was a terrorist attack. Despite knowing the facts, the Administration spun the fable to the American people that this was a “spontaneous response” to an Internet video.
Why did you, and the Obama Administration, lie to the American people?
My belief is that if they get Clinton on anything it will be emailgate not Benghazi.
Agree...nothing comes of this...and Hillary is let off the hook. I feel and pray for the victims’ families who have to endure these events. They were already used as props before.
As I said when I was in the service for 21 years “There are no good deals, only varying degrees of bad deals”.

Did someone get to Gowdy about the investigation appearing to be a Republican attack on the Democratic front-runner Clinton? Is Gowdy going to allow that Leftist accusation to deter him from an unflinching investigation and, if probable cause is found, prosecution of Clinton for Benghazi and mishandling of national security? Or did this stuff get to Gowdy’s boss who then told Gowdy to “pivot”?

Mostly correct. They aren’t sissies at all, they are traitors and whores. As for Gowdy, the harder Hillary has run from him, the slower he runs after her. He has failed in every one of his “committees” and he has a bunch of FReepers fooled.

Let me be clear ... Gowdy utterly destroyed this Committee. It is now utterly irrelevant thanks to he, McCarthy etc. I even said that when Gowdy was appointed it was a mistake because he would take a prosecutors mentality in (so it seed). You aren’t prosecuting, you are investigating. VERY different.
Not only is this Committee DOA, it is now going to work to the Dims benefit as they are going to hammer this all the way to Nov 2016.
You don’t take someone as inherently unlikable as Hillary and make people feel like she has been wronged. Gowdy did just that.
I find the fact that the GOP’s inability to put someone with a brain in charge of these things to be stunning.
