The format helps Hillary with alternate questioning from each side. The Reps will challenge and the Dems defend and justify. The Reps should have demanded a private hearing rather than this circus. Hillary wanted a public hearing because she understands her advantage in this format. So the Reps lost just by agreeing to a public hearing.
