Government Inadvertently Promotes Chastity
Accuracy in Academia ^ | October 23, 2015 | Malcolm A. Kline

My old boss, M. Stanton Evans, loved to tell a joke centered around the late Senator Jesse Helms, R-NC, a conservative icon: “Jesse Helms announced that he is now in favor of sex education in public schools. He said, ‘If the government does that as well as it does everything else, pretty soon nobody will be doing it.’”

Well, that joke is becoming a reality. “Consent from the person you are kissing — or more — is not merely silence or a lack of protest, Shafia Zaloom, a health educator at the Urban School of San Francisco, told the students,” Jennifer Medina reported in the New York Times on October 14, 2015 from San Francisco. “They listened raptly, but several did not disguise how puzzled they felt.”

“What does that mean — you have to say ‘yes’ every 10 minutes?” Aidan Ryan, 16, asked. “Pretty much,” Ms. Zaloom replied.

“With Gov. Jerry Brown’s signature on a bill this month, California became the first state to require that all high school health education classes give lessons on affirmative consent, which includes explaining that someone who is drunk or asleep cannot grant consent,” Medina reported. “Last year, California led the way in requiring colleges to use affirmative consent as the standard in campus disciplinary decisions, defining how and when people agree to have sex.”

“More than a dozen legislatures in other states, including Maryland, Michigan and Utah, are considering similar legislation for colleges.”

Find out why proponents of abstinence education could actually like the new sex ed.

Leave it to liberals to eventually get to the same conclusion but for all the wrong reasons.

Sin complicates things. Even if one denies its existence.

Instead of “she said yes” the response now is is “I asked her every 10 minutes and she said yes every 10 minutes”.

I highly advocate chastity for democrats, liberals and progressives.

I’m wondering if Shafia has nice Zalooms.

It’s tough being a liberal, because reality is so unchanging.

I was thinking this the other day when I heard a report of a couple in their 50’s trolling for 20-something girls on a local campus.

A lib would say that the couple’s sexual proclivities were none of our business and should not be judged,
but the inherently associated behavior (trolling/propositioning coeds) was “wrong” or “creepy”.

“I asked her every 10 minutes and she said yes every 10 minutes”.

Specify smaller time intervals as the requirement.

“I asked her every minute and she said yes every minute”.

“I asked her every second and she said yes every second””.

“I asked her every millisecond and she said yes every millisecond”

Somewhere in there the intimacy breaks down along with the excitement.

Good. It’s wrong and stupid, stupid and wrong for unmarried people to be having sex. If this training discourages them, they will benefit.

Anyone notice the ‘written consent’ crap ONLY deals with heterosexual relationships?

They will need a video documentation and a timer with an alarm. Every 10 minutes both parties have to get up, hit the Yes button, and then go back to it.

If that’s the best we can do for chastity... well it’s better than nothing.

You’d think there could be some kind of arrangement to transcend all that.

Oh yeah. God thought of it. He called it marriage (unlike the phony institution of the same name observed among men today).

That is not FAIR! Doesn’t that discriminate against the weaker “gays?”

The new rules give an advantage to men who are not students, and who want to hook up with college girls.

Perhaps that was the intent?

Depends. If you're really doing it right, she should be going "Yes! Yes! Yesssss... Ohhhhh yessssss". 8-)

It is all the same.

Sex Ed and what is programmed into our children is warping all human interaction. It is artificiality and inhumane-—all of it. It is operant conditioning-—making godless animals of our children.

We need to take children back into he Natural Family for the formative years and only allow Classical Education (which includes Virtue formation/Bible) so that they have the ability to be truly human-—to be a rational animal.

All Public schools (Common Core/Goals 2000/NCLB) force our children to be godless animals (non-thinking ones.) to collapse Virtue (Christian culture which created the Age of Reason/Modern Science). Sex Ed is their easist way to destroy moral formation and hate for parents-—because sex ed takes dignity, romance, mystery, and privacy (morality) out of the sex act. But even without “sex ed” it is still ALL operant conditioning-—like with Pavlov’s dog.
