A famous claim... is that the GOP Congress has "given Obama everything he wants."

It is utter nonsense. Here is a partial list of items Mr. Obama has requested from Congress since the GOP took the House back in 2010:

-- The American Jobs Act

-- The Paycheck Fairness Act

-- An increase in the minimum wage to $10.10 an hour

-- An array of gun control measures

-- Universal pre-kindergarten education

-- A week's paid sick leave for all

-- Higher tax rates on the rich

-- A new minimum tax on multinational companies

-- Overhaul and expansion of unemployment benefits

And that's the playbook, the Left gets 50% of what he demands, the Right gets nothing in return. Hume and Co. get to claim some slight victory, and the Left just adds a bunch to the demand list for the next battle.

Rinse, repeat. The faux Republicans will claim victory up until their individual heads are on the Leftist chopping block.

Indeed! I’ve often commented that the American Left Wingers are of the same philosophical cloth as the Nazis - without the military fascism part.

But as far as “socioeconomic fascism” there are striking similarities:

-collectivism, not individualism
-speech/behavior police
-use of race to divide people.

Perhaps one difference is that the left is against the dominant race and they use their “Diversity Police” to enforce their goals.
