History shows again and again, how nature points out the folly of men.

And just as often, man uses his God-given gifts to exercise the dominion that God gave man over the earth, often learning from past mistakes. It's easy to point and call "Folly!" while typing on a keyboard (or speaking into a microphone) and sending opinions electronically to millions of people, utilizing technology created by folks who stuck their necks out only to be called fools at the time.

One of the worst, nightmare-inducing episodes ever!

No, that was a 'flukeman' from the X-Files, IIRC.

I believe this is a CHUD:

I saw a few articles/videos with liberals saying that Japan was going to be a wasteland and most of China/Korea would be uninhabitable.

Also remember that CNN had people pushing Iodine pills for the west coast of America.

Even if one were to say that the radioactivity of the fuel rods/waste there was concentrated, where did it all come from? To get enough radioactive material to do the damage they were doom porning, why were all those areas not the wastelands they predicted. Would they not have had to have mined that stuff from wastelands of equal area?

As always, in the well rehearsed Global warming style, they hyperexaggerated the effects while ignoring very obvious logical inconsistencies with their predictions/doom porning.

Norm, that is pure, unabashed anecdotal evidence - straight - no chaser.

I could just as easily claim that most of the actors in the John Wayne film - The Conqueror, died of cancer due to the film being shot in St George, Utah, downwind of atomic test sites in Nevada and be just as credible.

This is something I see more and more of on FR - an easy acceptance and repeat of anecdotal evidence as evidence of root cause and effect - it's embarrassing

And why does the truth embarrass you?

I mean it happened/is happening right now as we speak isn’t it? All the wordgame arguments fall apart in the face of the fact that Hiro/Naga have enormous cities atop ground Zero. Chern is lousy with overpopulated wildlife. Merc/Trinity do hold tours.

Sure radiation is dangerous and deadly. No argument from me. Now explain how you can go from being the site of a nuclear explosion and wildly unconstrained contamination/`release of radiation to an area growing into two of the largest populated cities in Japan in a couple decades if the truth of the matter is that the liberals are correct.

How? In detail.

Had me some imported shrimps from India, of all places recently. They were quite good too. I will not eat the Chinese imported ones. I also saw recently that Texas is now selling farm raised shrimp. May have to try some, everything is bigger in Texas (6 - 12 count with headon)!
