If oil stays around $50 a barrel, most countries in the region will run out of cash in five years or less, warned a dire report from the International Monetary Fund this week. That includes OPEC leader Saudi Arabia as well as Oman and Bahrain.

Low oil prices will wipe out an estimated $360 billion from the region this year alone, the IMF said.

If oil stays around $50 a barrel . . . it means stopping our domestic production to drive up the price and

that means millions of dollars into the pockets of Congress to make the laws ending our oil production

and it means millions of dollars into the pockets of the aged 1960s Marxist-Alinsky campus radical, psycho spoiled brats and their ideological litter occupying buildings on the Beltway campus and making the rules.

They can always go back to wondering around in the desert fighting over water holes and wadis.

I’d love to see oil back at $100.00 or better a barrel.
It not being there has put a whole bunch of folks out of work.

Let me quickly conduct an internal survey to calculate my rate of empathy-sympathy-concern.

Yep. It’s zero.

Don’t like free markets?

It has created work for some people and it takes a little control from Fedzilla.

Sounds good to me. I am sick of all our money going to the stinking muzzies, for them to give to terrorists to kill our people.

The U.S. government should be doing everything possible to promote long-term Islamic internecine conflict. Whether it’s Sunni vs. Shi’ite, ISIS vs. Assad, Hezbollah vs. Hamas, or Iran vs. Saudi Arabia, it works in favor of the civilized world. Sell them all the weapons they want to kill each other. Remember—every time an Islamist dies, an angel gets his wings.

But it gets better. They are also preparing for a sunni-shiite war. All their money will go to weapons, and when they are used, will leave the region devastated, with no money to rebuild.

Which is why they want their troublemakers and underclass in Europe and the US before then.

The world is awash in oil and I hope it continues to keep such people out of work whose livelihoods depend upon price gouging.

Banks typically are the repository for money

The point is all this money has to accumulate somewhere other than where it was
