Rumor: Jeb Bush to drop out of race on Monday

There is a rumor going around that Jeb Bush will drop out of the GOP run for president on Monday, October 26th. I’d like to believe this rumor, but so far it’s only being reported by a few moderate web traffic sites. It’s long past due for Jeburrito to drop out of the race. Regardless if you like Trump or not, chances are you don’t like Jeb Bush. He has the lowest favorables of any GOP candidate, including Trump.

I’m looking at the math, even if Jeb drops out, does that really help Rubio that much? Marco Rubio would likely not get totally all of Jeb’s following if that is in the 4-5% percent range, so even if he gets, say, 3% that puts Rubio at, depending on polls, maybe 15-16%, Carson 20%, Trump 28% say. That is not helpful enough.

This is true. If Trump is the nominee, you will see a ton of donor money that normally goes to Republicans go to Hillary instead. I doubt you’ll see that even amount on both sides that both parties usually have in an election, unless Trump dumps hundreds of millions in himself to balance it out.
