i went to see the martian with wife. great movie.
we went to the reserved seating 3D, in recliners.

all in with popcorn was around $40.

i guess it was worth it, but not something you can do all the time, even if there were movies you wanted to see which there usually aren’t.
i might go see the vin diesel witch movie though, i like vin and always up for a good witch hunt movie

Went to see “The Walk” a couple weeks ago. Very very good.

There is a dearth of any good movies to see.
I have Zero interest in the latest slew of flops.
Only Vin Diesel’s movie which I can wait for on VUDU.

There is no imagination, no originality, and the endless number of reboots they do, like last summer’s “The Man From Uncle”, was totally wrong and deviated so badly from the original story line, why did they bother to make it if they were not going to be at least somewhat faithful to the TV show?

I don’t see much on the horizon, other than James Bond and Star Wars to even think about going to see.

This weekend we have a Bradley Cooper movie about being a chef, sorry not interested. Lord I might even break down and go see the Goosebumps movie, it looked like a hoot.

Took the family to see the “Martian”. Was a good flick.

Looking forward to “Bone Tomahawk”.

Hollywood is going to have let loose some creativity and stop worrying about being PC. They’re so afraid of offending someone of some group (they’ll offend Christians and American values) that the free flow of new ideas has all but stopped.

Jem and the Holograms?

A feature length film based on a TV cartoon from the 80’s that most people barely remember?

What did they THINK would happen?

Was RatherBiased Lies (aka “Truth”) ever released in theaters or is it going straight to cable?

Woodlawn is the only movie out now that I would even consider paying to see. The rest of the crap out there they’d have to pay me. Including Star Wars BTW - is , was and always has been lame space opera.

If they ever make another National Treasure movie I might go to see it, otherwise I’m not wasting my time and money unless there is a chance of an uplifting message.

It’s hard to believe white liberal elites who hate everyday Americans can’t produce films we’d like to watch.... /s

Our Brand is Crisis just about has to flop. Watching a movie about competing spin doctors trying to prop up corrupt South American candidates? Who the hell is the audience? I get my fill of the James Carville/Mary Matalin types in real life. I don’t need it for entertainment.

The last movie I saw in a theater was Team America, way back in 2004. Forget Hollywood.

Every movie just looks like a previously made movie with slight differences.
