Winner, winner! Chicken dinner! They only report on conservatives if it is in negative terms.
Now for a short public service announcement to all on FR:
I prefer Cruz and my money goes to his campaign, hence the Cruz link. If you like someone else, donate to him/her (find your own link to do it) and if you use FR and don't donate, then please don't complain about the welfare leeches or those who have Obama Phones because, functionally, you are no different than any other FReeloader.....
GO CRUZ!! Keep it up Trump!!
I’ve noticed that, for the establishment darling, Bush is out and Rubio is in.
True. It is up to us to make ignoring Cruz impossible
Conservatives also need their own “SNL”. It would explode the ratings.
Ive seen that “Cruz for SCOTUS” idea floated around recently. It does seem like a much more efficient use of his talents rather than wasting it on being a neutered president standing in front of a majority of democrats and RINO’s who will never send him what he needs. Cruz could do damage on the Supreme court for decades to come... and he’d be damn good at it too.
The mediots always ignore whom they don’t like/want.
No exposure = death.
If they don’t talk about you...you fade into oblivion. Case in point is Donald Trump. The media would ignore Trump if they could. But they can’t. Why. Because Trump is out making speeches and saying things deliberately that draws the mediots ire, and they feel compelled to talk about him and his latest heresy against liberal orthodoxy.
Cruz, unfortunately is not as well known, or is perceived negatively from his actions in the Senate. And therefore you see the media ignoring him because they can.
Hannity interviewed Cruz right after last night’s debate.
Exactly.
Hannity is the exception, but all others on Fox and elsewhere seem to have received a memo to downplay and basically ignore Cruz. As someone else pointed out above the headlines talked about the Rino backup Rubio instead of Cruz who had the best line of attack all night.
By the way, as I said, last night was not the emergence of this is ignore Cruz strategy. A few days ago I saw a pundit discussing who Jeb! has to deal with. The pundit named Trump, Carson, Rubio, Fiorina, even Paul, Huckabee and Christie. Absolutely no mention of Cruz; this can’t be mere coincidence.
Fight for Cruz because he fights for us.
Yes, this “ignore Cruz” strategy has been going on since shortly after he announced his candidacy back in March, at least with most of the Fox personalities — Hannity being the one clear exception.
Just look at how often they have these obscure candidates on, like Christie, Kasich, Huckabee, Paul. To be fair, Hannity has had Cruz on quite a bit, and Megan has had him a few times. He appeared once that I’ve seen on Special Report and to the best of my knowledge, he has not appeared at all on O’Reilly or Fox News Sunday.
I find O’Reilly ignoring Cruz as the most obvious shun, because O’Reilly has been championing Kate’s Law and blasting lawmakers who have blocked it. At the same time, Cruz has co-sponsored and fought for Kate’s Law, yet O’Reilly has not had him on even once (that I’ve seen) to discuss it.
Yes, you’re not the only one seeing this — many of us have noticed the same thing.
And if you’re Gandhi then you get shot, Cruz can skip that part.
Good post I agree Cruz needs to show the same level of fire that Trump does. That doesn’t mean he has to be as insulting as Trump, he just needs to be as noteworthy.
Well watching the dynamics play out in the debate last night you can see this thing quickly morphing into the last two men standing will be Trump and Cruz. So at that point Cruz will be hard to ignore.
The MSM’s worst nightmare is likely to happen. Trump and Cruz.
It was Cruz who started the rally against the moderators. His ability to describe so clearly what the moderators were doing was genius. The total recall of the events of the debate was a sign of that Cruz has a brilliant mind. Later Rubio said the following, which was also brilliant:
“The Democrats have the ultimate super PAC; itâs called the mainstream media. Last week Hillary Clinton went before a committee. She admitted she had sent emails to her family, saying, Hey, this attack on Benghazi was caused by Al-Qaeda-like elements. She spent over a week telling the families of those victims and the American people that it was because of the video, and yet the mainstream media is going around saying it was the greatest week in Hillary Clintonâs campaign. It was the week she got exposed as a liar. She has a super PAC helping her out, the American mainstream media.”
Calling the media a super PAC was the best hit on the media since Sarah Palin. I think I almost choked on my popcorn.
