Conservative talk radio hosts Sean Hannity, Mark Levin and Rush Limbaugh should be tapped to host a Republican debate since they actually care about issues GOP voters are concerned with, says Texas Sen. Ted Cruz. Cruz, one of the 15 candidates taking part in the two GOP presidential debates Wednesday night, told Fox News Channel's "Special Report" on Thursday he is tired of liberals being in control of the discussion.
"In the Democratic debate, they get a ton of love from the moderators and it's all praising the different candidates, avoiding too much clash," Cruz said. "On the Republican side, you look at an awful lot of the media interviewers, their object is whoever the Republican nominee is, to beat up on them, and to have people either stay home or vote for Hillary Clinton."
In one of the 2012 debates, ABC's George Stephanopoulos, a former staffer of President Bill Clinton, repeatedly asked GOP candidates about their stances on birth control.
"We found out about a month later that was the opening charge of the Democrats' made-up war on women," Cruz said.
Cruz was asked about charges that his rival Sen. Marco Rubio has missed too many Senate votes while running for president. Cruz said he isn't concerned about quantity, but quality, and that it is more important to be on hand for the vital votes.

Have the debate hosted by Hillsdale College. That would blow the liberals away with a conservative college, pro-constitutional and Limbaugh, Levin and Hannity. The MSM media would explode
I am being completely sincere here. Rush Limbaugh and a least one other person would present a skilled and eminently fair moderation. True Rush can be very anti-liberal on his show with put downs. As a moderator he would be conscious of his own change in his position.
If this ever happened and of course it will not, what a blow for Conservative concepts of fair play. The ultra left liberals would be expecting their own petty, self serving bias from Conservative moderators. They would not get that kind of stinking performance. (Just my humble opinion here).
Sounds good. Or just bypass the networks and podcast it.

Not gun grabber . Against assault rifles only . I have no problem with that .
Then you are at the wrong site. First off by definition an assault rifle is fully automatic. The gun grabbers on the left know but ignore the fact that the guns they call assault rifles are NOT full automatic but semi automatic. Just like many sporting fields and shotguns have been since around 1900 when Winchester Remington and Browning had semi automatic rifles available to the public for hunting or protection.
The nasty looking black rifles are the same as nice walnut Remington 7400 or Browning BAR sporter.
So the left puts caveats for banning certain rifles as ASSAULT. Bayonet lugs. Cause a bayonet makes a gun more Dangerous. Pistol grip butt stocks cause they look military. Flash hiders because military rifles have em.
The 2nd amendment is for YOUR protection from savages, invading armies and government gone Fascist. You need to at least approach the quality of personal arms that those usurpers of Liberty carry.

Couldn’t wait to see the morning after sniping that someone’s pet candidate got the harsh questions while someone else got the softballs.
Ratings would be as high as possible if they did that.
