“That could come Sunday, when all but one campaign has agreed to meet in the Washington, D.C., area, to discuss wresting control of the debate process from the Republican National Committee. One source told NBC News that “only the Cruz campaign has not confirmed.”

Another possibility is to broadcast it on the Internet, making it freely available.
A very lively option, IMHO.

Another option would be to do it on the Excellence In Broadcasting radio network.
Which would actually do both, if the dittocam were made free for a day . . .

Radio has the virtue of focusing more on what is said, vs superficial appearances.
The internet has the virtue of enabling a speaker to use visual aids.

I want debates to be moderated by nothing but chess timers to equally allocate the time among the speakers. With the proviso that if nobody has their mike on, everybody’s time declines. But at rate proportional to his/her time remaining, so that the incentive to hoard time to dominate at the end is counterbalanced.
