What a relief! Only 17 Democrat Governors left in the USA!! Can you believe that?

THAT ^^ is a glorious thing to read, dear Rita!

Only IF the Republican Govs stop acting like Democrat Govs themselves and DO something conservative with their power. Otherwise, Same-same.

Tougher than freedom of conscience, since there’s a decent union presence in the state (Ford, UPS). But possible.

It’s pretty clear that the Bluegrass Poll has no credibility. It showed Conway clearly ahead and it appears Bevin will win by 9 points - a considerable margin. Last time around it showed the Senate race neck and neck or even Grimes ahead at times - McConnell won by 15 points. This time around it showed Democrat Andy Beshear with a double digit lead over Republican Whitney Westerfield (47-35). Beshear is going to win with a very small fraction of a percent. Grimes was shown as being ahead of her opponent by double digits. She won by about 2% tonight. Donors probably relied on that polling to not open their wallets for Westerfield and Knipper (Grimes’ opponent). It’s pretty clear that if they had had enough cash on hand to run a media campaign, they would have won, and we would have swept all offices.

Polls were BS.

They were off by ~14 points.

Just an honest snafu by the pollsters I'm so sure.

“Now how about the state senate and house? Hope Matt will have some help to help Kentucky be a great state...”

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

In large part that’s up to Matt. He’s the Guvvy now, and he needs to deliver.

Hard to turn down the money in KY. The chairman of the appropriations committee is Hal Rogers and the Senate Majority leader is KY Sen. Mitch (”Harry’s Bitch”) McConnell. You should have seen all the Obamacare money that poured in to Corbin, Williamsburg, London, and Somerset KY due to Republican complicity in that fiasco. Luckily, out new Gov. Elect Bevin is a TEA Party man.

The conservative Republican “Ditch Mitch” movement has just started, but it will take 5 more years...

Gov-elect Bevin needs to learn from the last republican governor’s (Ernie Fletcher) blunder: clear out the entrenched, fiercely loyal, non-merit democrats that run the various state cabinets. Fletcher’s effectiveness was diminished because he didn’t clean house sufficiently and lost his bid for a second term as a result.

States have got to get away from Fed dependency. But they throw so much money it is hard to say no to.

All I know if is obummer wants to start building housing for his sons on the south shore of staten island, he better send the national guard with him.

We worked hard to make our houses and neighborhoods worth what they are.

The can keep the local money.

We dont need or want his dough.

That’s fine with me. Even Ann Coulter was roped in by McConnell’s campaign BS. Of course she was roped in by Christi and Romney, too. She had at least 4 columns supporting McConnell against Matt Bevin in the primary (US Senate, 2012). Everybody I know knew he was lying about his espousing a conservative line, but a huge majority voted his ass back in. That Obamacare money came here because McConnell and Rogers are both pork barrel liberals.

I didn’t know that New York didn’t take federal money. I sure wish we didn’t.

We give the fed more than we get but that’s because of Wall Street.

And 40000000000 taxes.

I hate our governor.

I dont vote “italian”, like hispanics vote. I vote for who i like.

Rudy was just a bonus :)

It’s a big victory that I would have NEVER expected, but he has “already grown in office” through his dislike of the Confederate flag. Even though Jefferson Davis was a KY native

The problem was , No RINO money to overturn the close races. The RINOs would rather a DEMO win than a conservative. Only a steady removal of filth, will save the Union.

my opinion :)
