I’m 55, and I cannot recall ever seeing a presidential candidate signing autographs - not even Reagan. Any FReeper ever seen this?

If Trump wins the presidency, and the establishment whores of Congress and K-Street attempt to impeach him for doing what is right - when they REFUSED to impeach the treasonous, cocaine-snorting, muzzy, Marxist, sodomite, usurping bastard now in power ... Then the American people need to rise up and march on D.C. - rifles in hand, loaded and ready to bring Hell itself down upon the ruling class - no mercy, no quarter, no prisoners.

It won’t come to that.

There will be a lot of huffing and puffing in the news, but that will be where it ends.

No one is going to be brave enough to cross the American voters.

Besides George Washington has there ever been an elected president who has never held any other public office?

Eisenhower was really the only one in modern history. Don’t you think he was an outlier? Carson and trump are not World War II generals.

George Washington did hold public office. He was a Burgess for years.

You don’t count Hoover as “modern”?

Consider the Elder Bush. He was a career bureaucrat. He was a two-term congressman from the Houston suburbs, but that’s the extent of his experience in elective office until he was elected vice president.

All right, since there are people living now who were alive in the 20s, I’ll give you Hoover.

Here is the bottom line - and I’ll quote General George S. Patton:

“Americans love a winner. Americans will not tolerate a loser. Americans despise cowards. Americans play to win all of the time. I wouldn’t give a hoot in hell for a man who lost and laughed. That’s why Americans have never lost nor will ever lose a war; for the very idea of losing is hateful to an American.”

It was part of Patton’s speech to the 3rd Army on the night before D-Day.

See: The Famous Patton Speech - by Charles M. Province

http://www.pattonhq.com/speech.html

Carson is a wallflower, a pansy, a shrinking violet, a wimp - he would get washed, spun dry, ironed flat and folded by the establishment ...

Marco Rubio is a mealy-mouthed twerp, a GOPe water boy, a little man with ZERO integrity (Gang of 8). Rubio will ALWAYS put his father’s blood and ancestry before America’s best interest. Nobody wants a wining RINO runt as America’s point man.

Americans are fed up with the establishment and their emasculated excuses for manhood that they consistently serve up like a plate of hot steaming sh*t every four years. We want a MAN in the BIG CHAIR - not a pantie waist wuss ... AND THAT’S WHY TRUMP LEADS, and the wannabes can only choke on his dust.

I tire of all the FRers who apparently think big-mouth = strong, and quiet = weak.

Just because one doesn’t shoot off words, one can’t be steadfast and tough?

Ever hear of the “strong and silent” type?

Geesh.

George Washington was a delegate in both the 1st and 2nd Continental Congresses.

Zachary Taylor was a Major General - no political office prior to being elected to President

Ulysses Grant was Commanding General of the US Army before being elected President

Chester A Arthur was a VP to Grover Cleveland, before that was the Collector of the Port of New York appointed by US Grant. (don’t know if being a VP counts on this list or not)

William Howard Taft was a Chief Justice of the United States, Secretary of War, Governor of Cuba & Philippines. All positions appointed by Presidents or Congress.

Herbert Hoover was the Secretary of Commerce appointed by Harding.

Dwight D Eisenhower was the Supreme Allied Commander in Europe in WWII

Presidents NOT listed were either a State Governor, Senator or Congressman

So Trump should he win will be a first for this country. All the Presidents I listed were either Generals or held an appointed office of some sort. Those that do not like Trump will sooner or later look it up and try to make hay of it.

But I do not think it will count for much. The anger of Politics as Usual and at the Anti-Establishment should carry him past this.

Who in their right mind thinks “loud = tough” and “quiet = weak”?

I really, really tire of this total foolishness.

Chester A Arthur was a VP to Grover Cleveland...

James Garfield.

William Howard Taft was a Chief Justice of the United States...

That was after his presidency.

Looks like the definition of concern troll. E.D. would have to grow 10,000 percent to even register as a minuscule problem as compared to border security, national security and the economy. I like Cruz, but I won’t complain if Trump gets it.
