Wouldn’t it make more sense to store the grain in places that are close to the people who need it? How does putting into giant pyramids in Giza make any sense at all?
That is an excellent point. Then, of course, there’s the question of how large, elaborately constructed and artfully hidden burial chambers got into the grain-storage structures.
