If there is no evidence from West Point, what is the source for Politicoâs smear job about Dr Carson?
Think the American People have a right to know who gave Politico this fraudulent information? Politico needs to provide their evidence because right now there is NOTHING to back up their accusation.
Seems we might have Rathergate 2.0 brewing here
West Point told ABC news there is no way to prove, or disprove, Dr Carsonââ¬â¢s statements.

There is a collection of his papers at the University of South Carolina. I don’t know that it has his datebooks, though.

If anyone believes that a political machine - particularly THIS administration - won’t use every scintilla of information at its disposal to destroy its enemies he/she is badly mistaken. Any doubts, ask John Roberts, Mitch McConnell, John Boehner...
The biggest thing in this ‘controversy’ is the deliberate deception by Politico of what Carson wrote in two different books. The took a paragraph from his “Brain” book that described 4 different events without any mention of a date and whether they happened at the same time or 4 different times. They manufactured that into a single event that happened when Gen Westmoreland was in DC and thus “Carson Lied!” became the head line.
Read the transcript of Rush Limbaugh talking about this
http://www.rushlimbaugh.com/daily/2015/11/06/they_think_they_ve_got_ben_carson_with_a_very_cleverly_written_politico_story
and also Ben Shapiro’s column: http://www.dailywire.com/news/960/no-ben-carson-didnt-lie-about-west-point-its-ben-shapiro
What was the purpose Politico went with this? They could not verify Carson's claim so they claimed “Carson Lied” because they could not prove it true.
Um NO, you cannot prove it either way. A REAL journalist would say “you know what, I don't have anything here I have to keep digging.” Politico ran the story.
Why? Because Politico had no interest in the TRUTH, they were merely interested in a “gotcha story”.
This is an example that needs to be rubbed in the face over EVERY “Journalist” in the world. This is why their industry is utterly corrupt an totally failed. Either they are hysteric childish drama queens looking for the next thing to hyperventilate about or they are politically corrupt hacks. There is no excusing, or whitewashing this.
Thanks for the ping and your comments. This whole thing is Politico trying to give Dr. Carson the Sarah Palin treatment. I expect there will be more and more of it.
We need to hit back hard
From now on their name is POISONICO
As Rush said today, it was "an electronic lynching being conducted against a Republican African-American candidate by a majority white, mainstream American liberal media where -- if you're not a good liberal and a good African-American on their plantation -- they are gonna take you out. And we are witnessing it."
Politico my ass, I renamed em
POISONICO
Good call
Yes, but apparently Rush covered it today and Mark Levin gave the first hour of his show to it, including having Dr. Carson on his show to discuss it.
There is pushback from influential people.
The media, by and large, is blind to its own bias.
I reacted to it myself. Fell right into the trap. Believed the headline.
I’m for Cruz, but Carson doesn’t deserve this crap.
I trust Politico for ‘good faith’ only in pushing the socialist-Democrat-Obama Party line and attacking those African Americans who run to freedom from the Democrat plantation.
