A painful exchange with a young student who's organizing for free public colleges, cancellation of all student debt and $15/hour minimum wage for all campus employees. She doesn't really know how to pay for it, unfortunately.

Gather all the parents who are paying out their, ahem, nose for these illiterate brats, and march onto the campus with Louisville Sluggers, with the optional nail(s), and save your alma mater from them.
You are very unsuited to critiquing acting. To critique acting you must actually study the art for, at least, over 20 years, while watching the greatest theater and film. Then, perhaps, get involved on the subject - even in a long term amateur way.
What evidence do you have that the comment posted earlier (which was a private comment) was written by...er, Dalton Trumbo or some other left wing writer? Or is that just a fantasy borne out of nothing?

John Ford started out as a classic liberal like many good people. Try and tell me that his films are in any way anti-American. He ended up a staunch conservative as did John Steinbeck and John Dos Passos.
But you get props for knowing who Pappy was.

I never saw any emotion out of him that did not look pained. His delivery did not vary from roles as a cowboy, a chinaman, or and Irishman.
