Christie: Mizzou, Yale Protests a Product of Obama’s ‘Lawlessness’
Washington Free Beacon ^ | 11/12/15 | Morgan Chalfant

Posted on 11/12/2015 3:42:15 PM PST by markomalley

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, a Republican presidential candidate, said that the protests at the University of Missouri and Yale are in part a product of President Obama’s “lawlessness.”

Christie made the remarks during an interview with the Washington Post at a campaign stop in Muscataine, Iowa, when asked about the protests, which have been driven by students pushing back on both schools for alleged incidents of racism and racial insensitivity.

“I think part of this is a product of the president’s own unwillingness and inability to bring people together. When people think justice is not applied evenly and fairly, they take matters into their own hands,” Christie stated.

“The lawlessness that the president has allowed to exist in this country just absolutely strips people of hope. Our administration would stand for the idea that justice is not just a word, but it’s a way of life. Laws will be applied evenly, fairly, and without bias to everyone.”

Earlier this week, the University of Missouri president resigned after black students claimed that administrators had failed to properly handle racism on campus. The protests at Yale University in Connecticut have been spurred by emails about offensive Halloween costumes.

No, he won’t. What’s going to happen is that kids with outstanding debt will have to work in typical liberal make-work jobs and projects.

Christie is absolutely correct. But it goes even deeper, this lawlessness is what Obama has played to, he is their champion and comrade. His intention was never to serve America, but to destroy America and this is his army. It will be a rocky year ahead.

President Hopeychanger has set race relations in the country back 50-60 years, at best. 10 years ago, maybe you’d have some isolated incidents, but overall people got along. Now, Obama has fully pandered to the most fringe, radical left elements that he could find, gave them a national stage, and this is the result.

Ordinary white “folks” have been intimidated by years of this crap to not speak up - Obama wants chaos, Merkel wants chaos, and they are getting it in a hurry. They must be delighted.

Mark Levin is talking about the lawlessness of the events at the college in Missouri. Why does the left get to break the law during their protests?

It is the goal of marxists nationwide to decivilize the US.

It is not. It is the fault of 2 generations of adults for raising a generation of wimps.

America’s stupidest and most immature think that since they have a voice, they are entitled to have normal people take them seriously. Lucky for them they exist in a special part of America where stupidity and anti-Americanism are encouraged.

Extra credit to candidate Chris Christie for properly identifying the Nation’s primary problem.

Christie really thinks people were united before before Obama? All that's happened since he came into office is people are more vocal.

No, he really hasn’t. I keep seeing this “Obama has set race relations back 50 years” and really he hasn’t. This is what has been happening for those 50 years. It’s really not his fault. His Presidency just brought legitimacy (and more power) to what has been the agenda of the liberals(citizen liberals, media, entertainment, academia) for the last 50 or so years.

They had the stage (in academia, media, entertainment, politics,etc.). He gave them the office of the Presidency and the Justice Department to enforce it all.

Why would any cop arrest, or try to arrest, a black person, or a minority now, when the media would explode no matter how right that cop was to intervene?

We’re in very different times now but these times have been brewing for many decades. People didn’t get along, overall, a decade ago. All of our Institutions have been promoting this for over 50 years. Obama’s Presidency, which still somewhat surprises me, how he got elected since we’re supposedly such a racist country, just gave the media what they always wanted.

Extremes. We have gone from one extreme to the other opposite extreme in every aspect of our society.

Because the media promotes it, allows it, sets the stage and the Obama admin with the help of every other Institution gets to define the issues.

Where are the patriots, constitutionalists during all this? Where are they in education, media, government? Apparently, they aren’t there which is why their message isn’t being promoted.

Um they’re running the show. They’re controlling all branches of our government, media, education. Yeah, I think there’s a good reason they’re winning.

I was referring specifically to the parents of the generation in college and the 1st to 6th grade teachers of the generation in college specifically. I suppose it could go farther back than that.
