Nobody walked out.
If they had, we would know about it.

Agreed. What I don’t get is why so many quote Trump out of context. The quote in the OP about Trump bombing the oil fields is out of context. Don’t know if Rush did that or who but it is out of context. This is the correct context, right after Trump explains he doesn’t want to say what his plans are because it benefits the enemy; https://youtu.be/apaToLjdRp4?t=3536

When I was young I had a landlord that lived on-property. I rented a carriage house that was attached to his main house garden. He was sleepy-quiet most of the time, like Ben Carson, but when he wasn’t sleepy-quite he was a maniac. Seriously agitated, itchy and angry. Storming around. Yelling, breaking things. So much so that I padlocked the door that led from my cottage to the garden a few months into the lease. Just before I moved I found out he was on a psychotropic med schedule. When he was agitated was when he was off his meds.

Ben’s speech patterns and facial expressions are very similar to Michael’s (the landlord). Maybe Ben’s medicated.

I don’t understand Trump’s strategery in asking “How stupid are the people of Iowa?”

My take is that what Trump meant to say, but it came out "wrong" through elision, was something along the line of, "How stupid does Ben Carson think the people of Iowa are?"

That just seems to fit given the context and how he's saying it.

Here’s where he talks about Carson, you can evaluate it in context; https://youtu.be/apaToLjdRp4?t=5181

Personally, I've wondered for a while if Carson might not be on tranquilizers of some sort, specifically because of his anger issues. It may well explain his sleepy Gentle Ben demeanor.

Here's a fun thought - what would happen if his manager took him off of it? Wonder if he'd physically assault Trump?

be careful, you will be assailed and verbally assaulted for saying such an obvious thin on FR.

I just was :)

six malpractice suits. that seems like a lot. maybe it isn’t.

also, some on here are under the impression that mentally ill means you sit home and talk to a TV that’s off.

There are VERY HIGH functioning and successful mentally ill people.

But i dont want one for president!!

and you are right. AT THE LEAST, tranquilizers, at the extreme, Thorazine lol

Why do YOU have to be such a blinkered TDSer?___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Fantastic response and intellectual defense. If Trump wins the nomination, it'll be folks like you that run to the dark cracks and corners and hide when he implodes in the general. Do you actually believe the crap he spews, (like that attack on Carson yesterday), is going to fly in a general???? really?? He's a fcking train wreck. The premise that it's either establishment or Trump is a bull crap premise.

IF there is any medication involved—and who but Carson knows for sure?—then it likely came about after retirement. For some people in powerful, high pressure, high respect jobs like Carson’s, the work is like a drug. I have seen this first hand. The person gets antsy and nervous if they’re separated from work for too long. Get them back in their high stress, high profile job, and they calm right down.

Just food for thought, fwiw.

We had a neighbor kid whose mood swings were so bad he went from absolutely angelic to genocidal maniac without rhyme or reason.
He was constantly in trouble and his family was going broke trying to keep him out of jail.
They were even afraid to leave him alone with his younger brother and sisters.

His parents finally got him to a doctor who would help him. He still has the occasional small fit of temper, but nothing like he used to be.
He is now a senior in high school
He now has the same slow speech and plodding speaking style as Ben Carson.

I can see where people say Carson is medicated.
Although I have met a person or two who spoke that way naturally.

Carson has told two versions of the belt buckle story. In one he attacks his friend Bob for changing the radio station (away from the classical music Carson preferred). In the second version Carson attacks an unnamed stranger for being a bully.

That's NOT what he said! Did you or did you not see the speech ?

Apparently you did not listen to the speech.

Here is exactly what Trump said:

"How stupid are the people of Iowa to believe this crap?"
