Oh boy, this should be good.
Children who need safe spaces need to go home, put on their jammies, grab their teddy bears, suck their thumbs and come back when they’ve grown up and are ready to face the world.
In victim culture, a person cultivates their sense of weakness and fragility, actively retarding the process of growing up.
There is no safer space than an American college campus.
Brilliant geniuses, one and all.

IMHO
Note the T-shirt on the female in front “I met God, she’s black”.
The best safe space is inside a liberal's mind. There's absolutely nothing there and nothing can penetrate it. [soho1950]
Pretty much spot on but still to politically correct for me. They need to be hit hard with what these supposed young adults actually are... worthless scum who don’t have a clue about life and they either need to grow the hell up or crawl back in the hole they came out of because they have nothing to offer. Their little safe zones are time out corners for pussies.
The majority of colleges are nothing more than day care for future liberals where the professors indoctrinate socialist ideologies, sunshine and unicorns.
Be nice to see real American Colleges pop up where true history is taught and folks get an actual education where they can contribute to society vice sucking the life out of it.
The author was being micro aggressive.
Time to stop college funding except for trade, technology, nursing and accounting majors?
Reminds me of the “Crazy Years” Heinlein wrote of. This era was followed by military rule in stories like “Starship Troopers”.
More proof of the “Bell Curve”.

Imagine their shock when a series of suicide bombers go off at one of their rallies, while other peaceful muslims open fire with automatic weapons ...
Wow...that's thinking outside the box.../ S
I guess the building self esteem psychobabble kids need really worked out well..
The only thing it built was a huge sense of entitlement...
Just wait until they actually have to get a real job in the real world with a real butt hole boss who can care less about your snowflake feelings..
Walter williams touched on some of this in his past columns. In the name of diversity these colleges admit students who probably shouldn’t be at college or should be at a college where they can compete. Now that they have had their feelings hurt, they are easy targets of the campus victimhood agitators.
We were a nation who could land on the moon, build the Internet, and win the Cold War. Now look at us.

Excellent read.
John Hawkins at his best.
What does ‘trigger’ even mean anyways? I keep on hearing it being used, but other than ‘I’m having bad memories right now; please be patient and understand my troubles,’ I don’t know what it means. Usually the person who’s used that word with me acknowledged that they were having some problems and wanted to better themselves.
