Actually,President Cruz was elected last nite!
When Americans think of stopping immigration, especially illegal, only one name comes to mind and it isn’t Cruz.
It could have been, but he didn’t man up.
That is my reaction as well. I watched Trump's speech in TX this afternoon, and I thought I was watching a man who could not put his thoughts together; having seen him in the debates, it was unnerving. What Cruz said on FoxNEWS this morning, however, was exactly what needed to be said.
I have thought previously that Cruz is the better President and Trump the better candidate, but unless the Beaumont TX speech was a one-off, I may have to reconsider that now; I would be afraid to vote for Trump on the basis of that speech, if that were all I had seen of him.
It isn’t so much that he won, but Clinton lost.
You can bet your very last nickel that, after a quick rework by a collaboration of the moderators and the candidates, tonight’s “debate” (which is a perversion of the word), will basically be a showcase for how tough the Dems are on terrorism.

VP maybe but Trump is the only candidate who has been saying they should not let any Syrian refugees in because they may be a Trojan horse and he will send them all back.
Today Cruz jumped on the bandwagon to back Trump up which is good. The others are too stupid to know they should be doing it too.

Actually he wasn’t.
I don’t think Cruz can get the necessary traction with the people. Trump is nationally at 42%. He has been saying since day one what others are starting to say. I think Ann is right.
Sorry but Trump was. He was the first one to discuss immigration. Cruz will make a good VP. GO TRUMP.
