"......Trump's twofer-attacking Carson's faith and character-reveals his glaring blind spots. No candidate should ever, ever attack an evangelical for his faith in Iowa, of all places. Iowa is home to a hugely influential evangelical community that won't particularly warm to a candidate who implies Seventh Day Adventists are members of some wacko cult. Carson has great appeal to the evangelical community. Although the percentage of Iowans who are evangelical Christians is about one in four,...they represent nearly 60 percent of the Republican caucus turnout.....
....It is ironic that Trump, who is a long-time member of the Presbyterian Church USA, would indirectly smear-to put it politely-the Seventh Day Adventists. Seventh Day Adventists are a Protestant denomination some may feel lies outside traditional Christian orthodoxy, but to imply the denomination is a weird cult is inaccurate...
What unites Adventists with many other evangelicals is their belief in doctrines such as the infallibility of scripture and the Holy Trinity.....
As for the response of the PCUSA to the Planned Parenthood videos revealing the sale of baby body parts?
Silence.
According to Presbyterians Pro-Life site, "It's no surprise that the Presbyterian Church USA has not spoken out against PP. The denomination has advocated against any legal restriction of abortion for years...all advocacy coming from the denomination in the last few decades has been in favor of a woman's unrestricted "right" to abort...."
Further, it appears PP and the PCUSA are allied:....
...And what about the church's stand on traditional marriage? That, too, has changed.
....What about Trump's denomination's stance on divestment of companies doing business with Israel?......
..While Trump is implying Carson's membership in the Seventh Day Adventist Church is suspicious; and while he is characterizing Carson's former struggles with anger as the equivalent of child molestation, Trump's own "middle of the road" church is about as far Left as they come......

My point is not that Trump is the same is Gingrich.
I am not saying that.
I am saying that if you look back at the dynamics of 2012, and how Romney did the dirty work of the GOPe and paved the way for an Obama 2nd term, who is the Romney of 2016?
If anyone says the answer is Trump, I will call that person a bald-faced liar... either that or a deeply, deeply demented fool.
That is not what you said. You needed to be clearer.
When you hear the word pathological what is your first thought?
Not true. They are PCUSA.
Trump went there (first line):

They belong to the PCUSA:

God, I was reading your post, and thought that I had written it.... Good show!!!! REad some of mine, and you’ll see what I’m talking about. YOu get two or more people engaged about Trump and like we’re one.
I truly fear for him. I’ve posted this many times.
The only thing stopping him now is some creep o...to assassinate him. I hope he’s wearing a vest.
Hahaha
Wow. How long have we been here fighting the good fight? 16-17 years?
And I just THOUGHT I knew you.
Donald Trump’s god is named Donald Trump and everyone knows it.
I am SDA and I believe you. Socially, most SDAs are very liberal. How can this be?? I don’t know, but they are. (shudder)
LOL! Priceless reply!
I admire Dr. Carson greatly, personally, but don’t think he’s ready at ALL. Cruz is the one for me!!!!
Odd remark. Trump leads in the polling. Must be the majority disagree.
I have a very very close SDA friend, and btw, I’ve always considered it to be a Christian faith, am I wrong?
Anyway, this friend is a prominent Pediatric Heart surgeon his wife a nurse, living in Loma Linda. They are staunch, and I mean staunch Clinton supporters with first Bill and now Hillary.
They are staunch staunch supporters of abortion. Their rational? “Everyone is entitled to one mistake in life, so why bring in an unwanted pregnancy to term when statistically, the child will not be very well off, because he’ll grow up in a single parent home etc.
I’m for a woman getting full benefits, education, and some money if she puts her child up for adoption. I mean why not.
But, these dear friends are real strong liberals...very strong...
Trump has ratcheted it down about Carson since Levin’s ultimatum, which shows that he’s not so narcissistic that he’s incapable of listening to others. So why is this still a topic for discussion?
Personally, I can’t wait to see Trump and Cruz go up against Hillary and whatever minority-token she picks as her lapdog VP. The Trump/Cruz Team will show what REAL leaders are made of, and they’ll do it in such a manner that there will be no leftovers.
Well, maybe a few leftovers for Soros to use as pig slop. Maybe.
Agreed! Its one of the best parts about Freeping, when we find kindred spirits. I hope the winds are shifting, the tides are finally turning and we will see a renaissance in America. I watch each of his rally speeches and he is consistent in his message throughout. WYSIWYG with Trump and he is all the things you stated in your posts!
I think Trump respects Cruz more than anyone else.
Agree Trump/Cruz seems to be where this may end up
I admire Dr. Carson greatly, personally, but donât think heâs ready at ALL
Seems to be a nice guy, but not tough enough for the rumble tumble of Washington, and certainly not the world stage we are now dealing with
