Russia has deployed its fleet of strategic bombers to double the volume of airstrikes on Islamist targets in Syria, Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu has announced.
It looks like they are launching cruise missiles.....

Yes the Russians are actually hitting targets. Hence, the ISIS retreat through Turkey and into Europe. Then they unload on Paris last Friday.
Prior to the Russians going into Syria ISIS was not in retreat when were attacking. This is because we were doing what you are asking. Destroying empty buildings and tents to PRETEND we were fighting ISIS. It was a joke and EVERYONE KNOWS IT.
Giving ISIS (Saudi Arabia’s Proxy Army) a warning before we strike is how we were fighting because we really did not want to destroy them. This is because we want to remove Assad from Syria.
Just the the day we struck some oil trucks, and warned them 1 hour before the strike. So ISIS could live to fight another day.
Again we do not want to take out Saudi Arabia’s Proxy Army, ISIS that is trying to remove Assad.
Here is one article from the Leftist rag the New York Times, admitting we warned ISIS truck drivers 1 hour before so they can continue another day. Those trucks were most likely empty. Like I said EVERYONE KNOWS THE ADMINISTRATION IS NOT SERIOUS with taking out ISIS.

Moreover, Russia wants to maintain it’s MONOPOLY of NATURAL GAS over Europe. It’s brings in A LOT of money to Putin.
Saudi Arabia wants to compete with Russia, but cannot unless they get that gas pipeline in Syria.
Thus, why ISIS (Saudi Arabia’s Proxy Army..Just like the French Foreign Legion to France) is there, funded, trained and Armed.

Anyhow, what stopped the attack was U.S. Forces saying they would not be Al-Qaeda’s Air Force. This is after they lost brothers and sisters in Afghanistan and Iraq. Plus after September 11th, 2001 attacks.

Once it was reveled to the public that the so called FSA (Free Syrian Army) was really Al-Qaeda. The public became very anti FSA. Insert ISIS or ISIL as the Administration addresses it.
Ever since then the Administration along Senator McCain and Lindsey Graham have been saying ISIS is just a small group within the Free Syrian Army. However, the military has reveled its upwards of 95% of the entire FSA is ISIS or Al-Qaeda (same group different name) Just Google ISIS Black Battle flag, and then Google Al-Qaeda Black Battle Flag. Yup. You got that right! Air and Naval forces are just support for the man with the rifle. For that matter, even the Tank forces are just support.
Advisers are not support, they are teachers. Unless you have 130,000 advisers with rifles advising each other in battle they are only support.

The whole thing is bizarre to say the least.... it is as if the Obama administration prefers ISIS to exist and establish a caliphate in both Syria and Iraq rather than for Assad to remain in power.
Assad might be a bad dictator but look, under him for many years, Christians and other religious sects were allowed to exist and worship without fear of being put to death. Under ISIS, they are being exterminated.
From the Muslim Brother hood to deposing Khadafi in Libya to Syria, it seems that Obama is putting his lot with the worst of the worst.

We have 58 operational B-52H heavy bombers. I’d like to see what Cruz or Trump would do to ISIS with that force. I don’t think even Russia could keep up with their potential operational tempo. Actually, I don’t think our planners can generate as many targets per day as that many bombers are capable of hitting.
What does Obama do with that force? Nothing. He limits our military to symbolic gestures because countries can not “bomb their way to a peaceful solution” in Syria.

Some of it is from recent exercises, but most of it is from the strikes. The later footage even shows escorts through Iranian airspace by Iranian F-14 Tomcats and F-4 Phantoms. Some of the cruise missile are launched over Iranian airspace.
