Real-estate mogul Donald Trump doubled down on potentially closing down certain US mosques during a Tuesday interview on Fox News.
Host Sean Hannity pressed on Trump on the topic, emphasizing that any shuttered mosques would be places where authorities could prove there was "terroristic threats" and "talk of jihad."
"Nobody wants to say this and nobody wants to shut down religious institutions or anything, but you understand this," Trump replied.
"We're gonna have no choice," he added. "There's absolutely no choice. Some really bad things are happening and they're happening fast."
The Republican presidential front-runner generated national headlines earlier in the week when he said he'd "strongly consider" closing some US mosques in order to combat terrorism.
He noted that the French government is apparently considering the "dissolution of mosques where hate is preached" in the aftermath of last week's terror attack in Paris, which was linked to the Islamic State terrorist group.
"You're gonna have to do something," Trump emphasized during his Hannity interview. "Some bad things are happening â and a lot of them are happening in the mosque. And you're gonna have to do something. And I'm not the only one saying this. Other countries are saying this, frankly. But some really bad things are happening."

Close them ALL. Deport ANYONE who complains
The “carnival barker” makes more sense and is unafraid to speak the truth...while the polished politicians run and hide for cover under PC talk.
“No, I won’t do that”. - All Presidential candidates except Trump and Carson.
Carson: “Those are just used for grain storage”
Don’t we have something called freedom of religion in this country?
Islam is a political system aimed at world conquest. It disguises itself as a religion but does not act like a religion. It has more in common with Naziism. It deserves no Constitutional protection.
I guess firebombing all the mosques is too extreme?
The first time a terrorist comes from a specific mosque, utilize the same tactics that the terrorist used on his family inside the mosque.
Rinse, repeat.
They’re putting us in position where we have to make that choice.
You can be free to practice religion, but you don’t have the right to worship in a building that serves as an armory.
Close them all. Deport them all.
Is it truly a religion when it commands it’s followers to kill all non believers in the name of it’s God? I would say No. And our citizens should not have to deal with these savages.
That means every Saudi funded Wahabbi mosque in America. Those are the ones that preach jihad. Shut em down.
[Carson: âThose are just used for grain storageâ]
Carson was referring to Egyptian Pyramids, not mosques.
I visualize churches in the 1930s where they preach Nazism instead of Jesus. Same sort of thing. Shut them down. Same in fact with the black liberation churches like the one O attended.
Trump is on the right track.
The bad guys “war” strategy is Mosques, Migration and Money to politicians.
Terrorism has morphed from it’s classic “get out and go home” to wielding power by causing the enemy to acquiesce out of fear or antipathy.
>Donât we have something called freedom of religion in this country?
Not if the “religion” preaches hate and plots to kill non-believers. islamos are brainwashed from birth to follow in the path of a killer and pedophile prophet.
Yep. Shakespeare’s Titus said it long ago (after putting up with massive abuse and finally snapping), “Cursed be the hands that forced us to this shift.”
Yes, we have freedom of religion, however, if that religion becomes a political entity that wishes to destroy our government, freedom and liberty by instilling sharia law, then yes, it is no longer a religion.
So you are saying all Muslims are Jihadist?
