It's a proven, effective way (like Atty Gen. Eric Holder - despite finding for the accused Ferguson police officer - conveniently found "rampant constitutional violations" in the police department - which allows adding more "rules" on police across the country) to control institutions.
Sadly, freedom to blacks means being able to LOOT whenever you want to!
That’s a MAN, baby!
My faith tradition includes sticks and stones can break my bones but names will never hurt me.
“To defend freedom of expression without thinking through these histories, and to accuse Black students of attempting to take rights from white students as though they actually have the institutional power to do such a thing, is a gross distortion of the facts.”
Everyone is equal but some people are more equal than others.
“In my faith tradition, our creation myth “
So, calling your faiths belief a “myth.”
Interesting. . .
Wow, this actually is a really good piece for understanding what’s going on inside the heads of these people. She lays out her reasoning very clearly and honestly. She’s as wrong as the day is long, and her ideas are toxic, but I’ll give her credit for giving us a clear picture of her thinking.
Can't find that section of the constitution
One of the saints or religious writers said something like “Don’t let yourself be bothered by small things. If you do, you will find that you are bothered by smaller and smaller things until everything bothers you.”
I’ve tried to find this quote with no luck.
>>or not to be called “nigger” as they walk through campus
Oh puhleeze. these idiots see a movie about 1960 and think it happened to them. This is like me claiming that I blew up the Death Star.
It’s right next to the part about muskets.
It’s in the penumbra, hidden in plain sight, right next to your right to murder babies.
These are ADULTS at college and they require segregated ‘safe spaces’ yet Americans are hysterical for wanting to screen Islamic ‘refugees’ for terrorists in their midst (Obama refused Christians refugee status because their persecution was religion, not political).
FUSalon.
Yes. It’s arrested development (public education) and the sense of entitlement (public education), married to “everyone must care” (public education) and ripe for political opportunism.
And if they can't get their minds around whose country this is, I suggest they take ship for South Africa and volunteer to help the government down there justify killing their white people.
Better still, send those Boers up here. They've given their country to palliate "world opinion"; there's nothing left for them there but degradation and death. They might want to try Texas instead.
This lady would just say “yeah, my beliefs are a myth, and so are yours. So what now?”
For the post-modern left it all comes down to power. Words and ideas are just ways of channeling power — whether they are true in the conventional sense is totally beside the point.
That’s why she can tell you her truths are untrue without any shame. The only truth to her is that she and her friends can change your behavior by getting all up in your face. She believes in changing the system by sheer will and direct action, unhindered by, and not really even paying attention to, or even having utter contempt for, notions of reason and principle and truth.
Yeah, she reads like a really well-written speech by Reinhard Heydrich or Heinrich Himmler on the Jewish Threat.
Orwellian irony, eh? Well, you make a good point. Four legs good, but two legs better. Yeah, that's it. Two legs better. <Do I really need tags in this thread?>
To me she sounds like a smarter than average lefty academic with a gift for language, a head full of Critical theory, and a racial ax to grind.
