After issuing a promise to carry out an attack on Washington D.C., ISIS has said in a new video message they will deploy a suicide bomber to New York City's Times Square.
New York City officials, including Mayor Bill DeBlasio and NYPD Chief Bill Bratton, held a press conference late last night to encourage New Yorkers to remain aware of their surroundings, but not to change their daily habits.
"We cannot be intimidated, and that's what terrorists seek to do. They seek to create fear. They seek to intimidate. We will not be intimidated, and we will not live in fear," Bratton said.
"We are aware of the newly-released ISIS video that mentions Times Square. While some of the video footage is not new, the video reaffirms the message that New York City remains a top terrorist target," the NYPD released in a statement late last night. "While there is no current or specific threat to the City at this time, we will remain at a heightened state of vigilance and will continue to work with the FBI, the Joint Terrorism Task Force and the entire intelligence community to keep the City of New York safe. In addition, we are continuing to deploy additional Critical Response Command (CRC) teams throughout the City, out of an abundance of caution."
With the upcoming Thanksgiving parade and holiday season, which includes the annual celebration of New Year's eve in Times Square, it's a popular time to be in New York City.
So let them detonate. They’re run off all the patriotic Americans, all that’s left are Leftists - the collateral damage to us would be minimal...

Of course they made all those statements inside a perimeter of armed police.
When have you ever heard an American president and an American politican in light of the events want to continue supporting, enabling and protecting those who want to kill us? Are we loosing our minds.
I noticed that as well. There wasn’t a voter within 50 yards or more of them.

I would think they’d do it on New Year’s Eve. A packed ‘house’, national TV and all that.

The must have missed the news report about DeBlasio saying he welcomed Syrian “refugees.”
Once ISIS learns of this they will call it off.
I feel sorry for law enforcement. NYC is going to need all those special teams to handle the Macy’s Parade next week. Not to mention two professional football games, and all the Black Friday sales.

They probably are..perhaps the NY threat is just a head fake..of course we will fall for it.

It wont be hard. Paris was really an attack that could be replicated anywhere with very little effort.
I even fear these guys will start strapping plastic explosives to drones and dive bomb public spaces.
