Why worry about it? the demodummies have been controlling the rinos for some time and makes no difference if the rinos have the majority or not. With McDonnell as Senate Chair and Ryan as new Speaker of the House, looks like the demodummies have nothing to worry about. Bastards all of them.
I doubt they will take back senate like a zero chance.
Therefore, if Trump wants a Congress he can work with, I think he needs to spend a few million finding conservative Senate candidates in strategic races that may be winnable, and support them against any GOPe types who try to claim the nomination only to provide a token opposition. Then, those that win, support them in the general, campaign with them and so on. That's the only way the GOP holds the Senate.
