Ted Cruz, who it seems is never one to mince words or shy away, has challenged Obama to “insult me to my face.” He also challenged the president to debate him and Wednesday night on Facebook repeated that call with a Facebook graphic.

Mr. President - stop the insults and debate me anytime, anyplace on defending America.

The link leads to the campaign website with a larger image of Cruz in the ring. Viewers can enter in their information to “sign up now” for “Cruz v Obama: Stop the insults. Let’s debate how to best defend America.”

Cruz’s call for a debate comes in light of Obama’s partisan comments responding to GOP presidential candidates who have criticized the president’s plan to admit more Syrian refugees.

As the Hill reported, Cruz was referring to Obama’s “personal insults and attacks” as “utterly unbefitting of the president.” He also mentioned:

He talked about how he was belittling the Republican field as scared. Well let me suggest something: Mr. President, if you want to insult me, you can do it overseas, you can do it in Turkey, you can do it in foreign countries. But I would encourage you Mr. President, come back and insult me to my face.

Obama was in Turkey when he mentioned it was “shameful” and “not American” to only allow Christian refugees from Syria into the United States. Comments also came from him in the Philippines when he said about Republicans “apparently they are scared of widows and orphans coming into the United States of America.”

As the battle continues to heat up between Obama and the GOP, it seems that the Cruz campaign has become all the more creative.

If Obongo ever actually agreed to debate Cruz, the Lamestream Media would call Cruz a bully for beating up on an mentally defective unarmed man!

Exactly. Cruz isn’t only challenging, he’s saying Obama is a no-show, a lightweight, and a coward. All in one graphic. Great concept, good execution. This needs to be plastered all over everywhere.

Kudos to whomever came up with the concept.

"Ted Cruz is Catching Fire"

Let's talk political reality.

I like the man...and his ideology matches mine.....but I want a qualified winner, not a clone that can't win.

The day Cruz "catches fire" will be the day the ice floes around the North Pole catch fire.

Unfortunately, he just doesn't have "It"....and he'll remain where he's been mired almost since the gitgo...fourth or fifth place.....maybe third if he sparks a little here and there.

Nothing in the numbers have been.....or are now.....or will be.....excitedly trending his way. That's just the way it is.

(Now, please don't shoot the messenger...like Rush, I'm a harmless, lovable cupcake who avidly wants to WIN a year from now).

LOL. You are a glutton for punishment.

Cruz is stuck in single digits. Can't help it. He is. Anything else is simply an outlier. Perhaps a single state issue here and there.

I will give him huge kudos for accomplishing one major feat (at least as it seems to him), he is now polling above "won't vote" at least temporarily.

Kudos Ted. You're surely on fire now...

After the events in Paris on 11/13, I will be adding
this to my posts for the next week. I'm certain our
turn is coming again soon. We stand united against
Islamic extremists.

An honorable mention also goes out to Lassana Bathily , a Muslim immigrant from Mali.
Mr. Bathily sheltered customers at the Jewish Deli and helped police by providing info
on the terrorists, and providing the location of survivors in the deli.

I agree....and besides he’s a ‘politician’ and we don’t want another ‘politician’ in the White House....if Trump picks him for V.P. fine...but other than that...NOPE....

TRUMP: AN AMERICAN FIRST!!!

Let's talk political reality.

I would like that.

Recent Fox polls show Cruz up and down a couple of points and well within the margin of error against Hillary.

Beyond that, it's hard to prove that media paid-for polls one year before an election, are "real".

Trump is a politician. He ran for president in 2000 and he is doing it again now.

I take issue with Mr. Cruz being called a clone. Think about it.
I take issue with whiny baby... He is going to burn out his light or Mr. Cruz will blow it out. I came as close as WB being my number two. Now I will only vote for Mr. Cruz. I also do not believe WB would ask Mr. Cruz to be his VP and certainly think Mr. Cruz would personally find more valuable things to do than go to funerals.

FR has clearly enter a dark time where anyone that is anti-Trump gets band and that ‘Trumpeters’ are free to jump on every Cruz thread and blaze away. I didn’t think it possible, but the ‘Trumpeters’ have less class and tack than the Ron Paul people had.

"I take issue with Cruz being called a clone."

I was referring to the fact that a candidate, as conservative as he may be, does not have to be a "clone" of EVERY ONE of my personal ideologies. Neither does Trump or any other candidate. There was only one perfect man who walked the face of this earth.

If Trump is the "whiny baby" you refer to, why does he pack 'em in up to tens of thousands everywhere he appears? Who would go anywhere to see or hear him, fight the incredible traffic, listen to him for an hour after standing for two hours....etc., etc....if all they get is whine with no cheese?

And by the way, Trump puts out quality wine from his numerous and profitable vineyards....may I suggest "Trump Sparkling Red" which matches his "Make America Great Again" cap.

The Bible exhorts us to "drink a little wine for thy stomach's (and also for thy Trump Derangement Disorder's) sake".....(1Timothy 5:23).
