She blowed up real well.
Isn’t it something how hardly anyone, most conservative sources included, just can’t get themselves to use the word “communist”, even when the groups or various individuals have openly admitted that that was what they are. For example, I can’t even once Sean Hannity describing Bill Ayers or his Weather Underground comrades communists. He only refers to them as “domestic terrorists”.
The Wiki piece you linked to makes zero mention of the fact that both the Weather Underground and the Symbionese Liberation Army (Patty Hearst case) were communist.
...in any case, I’ve never seen or heard of this film before. Has some well known actors in it though. But in nearly every one of these type films I’ve seen there was a strong slant in favor of the leftists. However, I think I may give it a shot, if I can find it somewhere. Thanks.
I tried watching that Weather Underground-based movie you mentioned. I turned it off after a few minutes. As expected, they made her out to be some sweet little “saint” who simply wanted to make the world/US a better place.
A pity old Art Carney (Ed Norton from the Honeymooners) had to be in it. Carney was not only a terrific comedian, but also a war hero. He walked with a limp due to injuries he suffered while in combat.
