Apparently they have no ROE. We learned that the USAF has not bombed any fuel trucks in Syria because the WH thinks some of the drivers may be civilians.

For a year the trucks have had a free pass while the fuel delivered has undoubtedly contributed to the death of forces friendly to the US. Monday the AF began taking out the trucks. DOD Secretary Carter may lose his job.

This reminds me of a story my son told about a fellow Marine in his battalion who came to Iraq in the headquarters company. A squad leader was wounded so he was assigned to takeover. On patrol in this village a jihadi ran up and whacked him with a tree limb or board. He dropped his rifle and wrenched the weapon out of the guy’s hand forcefully enough badly dislocate his shoulder. Then he proceeded to beat the guy’s teeth down his throat. Everyone agreed the guy must have fallen down some stairs.
