Its sad when you just can’t move on from denial. Trump is going to be the GOP nominee. So best to get yourself ready to vote for him in the general election. He’s going to be a great President. Yuge! :-)

The game you're playing is one which is going to damn this country.

If you are a conservative, how can you possibly back someone with such little track record and with completely differing views as recently as 7 years ago?

What is there to trust? Why put so much stock in the fleeting words of a TV personality from New York?

Do you HONESTLY think he has ANYTHING in common with someone from Georgia? That his life experiences would drive him to where he holds a conservative viewpoint?

Sure his family could have been the exception, but if that were the case his opinions would have been solidified before 7 years ago. They were not.

Maybe he has had a change of heart due to age? That is a possibility... we all mature. Of course, his change of heart came at 63... 63 years of batting for the other team... growing up in the New York socialite circles given his family's wealth... but maybe after 63 years enough had been enough?

I just find it VERY hard to believe someone who has been a democrat for SO long suddenly switches parties and completely alters their viewpoints, coincidentally right around the time there was an obvious shift in the mood of the American people due to the political leanings of the other side.

He may be all that he claims, I honestly have ZERO idea because I cannot trust what the man says.

If he was our only choice, sure, I could see taking the chance.

But he is not.

We have SOLID conservative candidates running this time around. Sure there may be a vote or two that folks can find a problem with, but its a vote or two. Not a LIFETIME of supporting the opposing party.

Donald J. Trump is too risky of a candidate for the perilous times we find ourselves in, especially when solid, time tested conservatives are running as well.
