It would be a yellow flag in NASCAR. The white flag is for the lat lap, which Trump is not on. He has many more to go!!

I think he could have handled the situation better.

When you run for President, you can handle the situation any way you like; no doubt in the "classy," weak way Republicans typically do.

Meanwhile, Trump was Trump, and thank God. He handled it to perfection.

The First Amendment doesn’t apply to Trump until he becomes The Congreff.

114 Christ told His disciples to take the swords.

Luke 22:35-38 (NIV) 35 Then Jesus asked them, When I sent you without purse, bag or sandals, did you lack anything? Nothing, they answered. 36 He said to them, But now if you have a purse, take it, and also a bag; and if you don’t have a sword, sell your cloak and buy one. 37 It is written: And he was numbered with the transgressors; and I tell you that this must be fulfilled in me. Yes, what is written about me is reaching its fulfillment. 38 The disciples said, See, Lord, here are two swords. That’s enough! he replied.

Matthew 26:50-54 (NIV) 50 ... Then the men stepped forward, seized Jesus and arrested him. 51 With that, one of Jesus’ companions reached for his sword, drew it out and struck the servant of the high priest, cutting off his ear. 52 Put your sword back in its place, Jesus said to him, for all who draw the sword will die by the sword. 53 Do you think I cannot call on my Father, and he will at once put at my disposal more than twelve legions of angels? 54 But how then would the Scriptures be fulfilled that say it must happen in this way?

As a 30+ year NRA Life member, I am in total agreement regarding personal self defense and national defense.

How do know Donald is not commanded to do the same?
Answer: you don’t.

Did you even bother to finish reading my post in 104?
104 ... All Freepers know that the U.S. is in deep trouble right now. Should Trump prevail and get the GOP nomination, I would probably vote for him in the general election. The Lord uses us all for his purposes. But I remain wary that he exhibits the persona of an imperious president like Obama.
Luke 14:5 (NIV) 5 Then he asked them, If one of you has a child or an ox that falls into a well on the Sabbath day, will you not immediately pull it out?

If you believe in God, then you follow Him and worry not about your own judgments. Donald is called.

Matthew 7:1-6 (NIV) 1 Do not judge, or you too will be judged. 2 For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. 3 Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? 4 How can you say to your brother, Let me take the speck out of your eye, when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? 5 You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye. 6 “Do not give dogs what is sacred; do not throw your pearls to pigs. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces.

Christians are commanded to exercise discernment with wisdom. At this point, I do not share your conviction that Trump is called by God.

I stand corrected on NASCAR rules. And it appears you are right about his steadfastness.

Yes I read your post and it was evident that you are uninformed about Donald Trump. And there is really no excuse for it because his life is so documented and catalogued like a Beatle’s.

Donald Trump does not dictate to anyone outside his chain of command. As President his chain of command is the military, the directors he appoints in federal agencies and the members of his Cabinet. Those he will consult with, make decisions and give orders to be executed.

With Congress and the USSC he will use the communication and negotiating skills he has perfected in his lifetime of successful business. He is known as a brilliant problem solver and facilitator. He brings people together through his talent for making deals.

There is nothing to suggest he will move to dictate to Congress or the Courts but he can be expected to put the screws to unreasonable persons if the situation calls for it. But this is not new to those that occupy the Oval Office. We can expect Donald Trump to be very successful as the nation’s chief executive.

Your fears are unfounded. There is not one shred of evidence that Donald Trump is planning a dictatorship. In fact, he has always consulted with his trusted attorneys and their networks before he announces a policy initiative. For example, his anchor baby policy was vetted with his lawyers before he announced it publicly.

One of the best persons Donald Trump can have close to him every day is Ted Cruz. And Ted Cruz will benefit greatly from the experience in business, trade and negotiation under Donald Trump.

There is nothing wrong with choosing Ted Cruz as one’s first pick but there is a loser attitude when the same attempt to badger and admonish Trump supporters. I have defended Ted Cruz before Donald Trump was in the race and I defend him to this day. Trump is my first choice but I will never snipe at someone that chooses Ted Cruz. I fully expect Ted Cruz to garner 15% to 20% in the primaries and to be chosen by Donald Trump who will garner 35% to 40%.

By the way, you slightly missed our Lord’s order to grab the swords. Yes, Peter did draw the sword against the will of our Lord but our Lord commanded him to take the swords, why? To intimidate the Temple guards so that he could plead to leave his disciples alone as they sought him only. He did this so that his chosen would escape.

Donald Trump is likewise commanded to take the sword knowing that he does not wish to use it but to intimidate America’s enemies so that the idea of America is preserved. God is not finished with America. Of course, this presupposes that America is a divine creation. I believe she is.

But I remain wary that he exhibits the persona of an imperious president like Obama.

Persona? You compare a phony community organizer/politician to a supercharged dynamo who built a world wide empire worth billions?

Trump is the real deal. It's why he connects to the people and they connect to him. The only thing Obama here is what's being generated in your own head.

“And, yet Cruz supporters jump on Trump threads and talk about “class”. Hypocritical and unreal.”

Excellent post about a weird phenomenon. They’re going to get even more unhinged when Trump starts winning primaries.

“Two divorces, claiming to never have prayed for forgiveness, and bragging about his wealth are all, at the minimum, yellow cards”

He said he tried to do better after - repenting is a big part of realizing one made mistakes and most don’t do it. Asking for forgiveness is the easy part and Trump did the harder part. Besides, who are you to cast stones? He gets along with his ex-wives and Ivan said he’d make a great president. If she can forgive him, he’s obviously done something right. Besides, God has the final judgment, not concern trolls.

I find him talking about his money refreshing. Having worked hard and done well is something to be proud of. Only socialists/communists think it’s a bad thing. This country needs to get back to work ethics and pride in the job one does. Trump will lead by example.

Spot on.

This Trump wealth envy is NOT conservative, or becoming. It’s almost as though folks are jealous of someone epitomizing the American Dream.

Another weird phenomenon going on, here.

Judging someone else’s faith is reaching a new low. Thanks for calling that out.

Thank You! I just know he is the one that is going to turn our lives around...we have been in ‘hell’ for 7 years and I see a light at the end of the tunnel....

We just can let Hillary into any more of our lives, and I really don't want another ‘politician’ to say ‘I will give you the stars, the moon and beyond’ and then go back and drink more kool aid...

GO TRUMP GO!!!
