I don’t know, but it apparently involves pimping a blog.

Here, this is the rest of it. This blog isn’t on the FR excerpt-only list http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/1111944/posts

*********

First, we have been attacked and we have the right of self-defense.

Secondly, we have a good and just purpose in waging war against radical Islam. Radical Islam is a brutal totalitarian movement that is dedicated to the conquest, death and enslavement of all Christians and all Western nations. It is time to destroy radical Islam.

Thirdly, our goal is a just peace at the end so that tens of millions of ordinary people may live in peace and safety in their own countries.

Fourthly, a Just War is waged by the authority of the State. That is why United States, its allies, and partners must declare war and wage unconditional war against radical Islam.

It is time to call what is happening a war, and for us as Christians and as a nation to wage Just War against radical Islam.

Fr. John Lathrop, Dean of Appalachia, Anglican Province of America. He is based in Brevard, NC

You’re welcome.

Here’s the HTRN take, FWIW.

It remains a Christian goal to keep, preserve, and increase peace, as a benefit to the world that God so loved, as well as to serve as an attractive witness for the gospel. So in that sense, yes, Christians are called to pacifism.

In some extreme instances, the forces of hell and the occupants of earth can be so solidly married together in an evil love, that the most merciful thing to do is to dismiss those occupants from the earth, if their activity cannot be effectively contained. Sometimes God works this directly. Sometimes God calls people to have a hand in it, in a manner which is to be as He prescribes because the power of life and death is so dangerous.

Just cause; and,
Good to be accomplished or evil to be overcome.
