Jindal isn’t, nor has he ever been a “conservative.” He did have some conservative traits - pro-life, pro second amendment - but mostly he was a typical RINO for the eight years in office.
Jindal was also strong on freedom of religion, but he could not convince the legislature to pass a freedom of religion restoration act.
