Let me clarify something since I'm somewhat naive about the inner workings of this:

1. Trump is currently ahead in almost all of the polls. Sure, there's one or two outliers, but he's by far the current front runner.

2. Trump, by anyone's consensus, has won the debates.

3. If Trump wins say 80% of the primaries, and continues to be ahead in the polls by 5-10 points, don't they Have to give him the nomination at the Republican Convention?

If the above scenario occurs and he doesn't get the nomination, then what?

The rigging of the delegate game begins after that and arms get broken and rules “adjusted” at state conventions.

We must be at our state conventions, so put a couple of night’s stay back in the piggy bank.
