Actually ... he officially endorsed that great conservative icon, John McCain in that race. Why? Well ... it was suggested many times that the only reason Trump endorsed McCain was because Obama named Biden instead of Hillary as his running mate, seeing as how he and the Clintons were great friends. It was a suggestion that Trump AVOIDED denying ... or confirming.
