TRUMP ERUPTS AT RNC: 'THAT WASN'T THE DEAL!': GOP elites plot new campaign to harm candidacy
WND ^ | 11/23/2015 | CHERYL CHUMLEY

A new campaign is underway by Republican establishment operatives to take out Donald Trump and ensure he's not the candidate of choice for the GOP - and the billionaire front-runner has taken to Twitter to call out the lead player as a "wacko" with few funding friends.

Trump described the operation this way on Twitter over the weekend: "A woman who got fired after two days of working with Scott Walker - a wacko - now trying to raise funds to fight me."

He was referring to Liz Mair, a brief former campaign worker for Walker's presidential push, who's now heading up Trump Card LLC. The Wall Street Journal reported on a memo that included Mair's expressed concern of "the stark reality is that unless something dramatic and unconventional is done, Trump will be the Republican nominee and Hillary Clinton will become president."

Trump's also firing a warning shot at the Republican National Committee about the effort to harm his candidacy, referencing the Journal's article and tagging the RNC's official Twitter account, @GOP, in his complaint.

"@WSJ reports that @GOP getting ready to treat me unfairly--big spending planned against me," Trump tweeted. "That wasn't the deal!"

In September, Trump signed a pledge not to run as an independent. He said at the time he was given the "assurance that I would be treated fairly" by RNC chairman Reince Priebus in return for agreeing to the "deal."

The one quality I love without reservation in Trump is he hits back and takes the fight to whoever he sees as wronging him. He equalizes the field and will make his arguments proudly. I like to see how he makes the press jump through hoops for him. Its so beautiful to see Republican who has a spine. Its one of the reasons I like Cruz so much.

The GOP can easily defeat Cruz. They have no idea what to do with Trump.

The GOPe had best be very careful - The base could storm the GOP National Convention and turn the charade into a total rout. If the establishment wants an all out war - they’ll get one - and not one they can control. These fools are playing with fire. 2016 is not like any other election, save perhaps 1860. The GOPe has best think soberly about what followed. Ask Rense Prebus of whether he is keen on starting a civil war.

You are making the huge assumption that the base will stay with whomever has an R by his name. I will contend those days were over when the Mississippi treason happened and is plainly evident by events of these present days.

Think about it, Trump has trumped the media, the DNC and the RNC all at the same time, and he already has his own bully pulpit. He has displayed he doesn’t need them and his supporters know this as well. The irony is that the media needs him. If they could, they would have just ignored him as they do Cruz.

So.. He had a “deal” with the GOP... What a non-surprise from someone accustomed to deals with bureaucrats. He and Hillary would make great running mates.. Imagine the deals they could concoct together. soros would probably be suicidal.

Trump is not my number one pick, Cruz is and will be until something drastic changes that.

With that said. These GOPe clowns will never learn their lesson. What they keep doing is trying to put out a grease fire by throwing water on it. And the Citizenry just keeps flaming up and supporting Trump more.

From the top down they are as stupid as their pick for President.

GO TRUMP GO....knock them out of the saddle like Reagan did, except he did not have the cash you do.

Seems to me it’s time for the Tea Party conservatives to morph into a 3rd party. Not sure what the name should be but it should be something that reflects conservative values.

Us conservative Americans and true patriots knew “the fix was in” as soon as the Republicans made him sign his vows to “play nice.” However, he also made them agree to be FAIR or he would be free of he contract to run as an independent.

HOW STUPID COULD THE GOPe BE? Trump was absolutely POSITIVE that they could not be fair to him if he showed any chance of winning. That’s the professionalism shown by a successful businessman dealing with a JV team of political hacks.

Will Trump run as an independent? You can bet your sweet bippy on it for he knew what he was doing when he fooled them into letting him run on their ticket, fully expecting them to torpedo his campaign early in the game.

Guess what? It backfired and now they are panic struck and have come up with this PAC that is supposed to shoot arrows at Donald’s political tank.

I await the speech that Trump will give when he says that the RNC broke their promise to be fair and simply steps over into his independent run....which by the way....will be supported by all who support him today.

THE REPUBLICAN PARTY:

“The go along to get along party.”

“The party that is able to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.”

“The champion of big business and the Chamber of Commerce.”

“The good ole boy club.”

And finally: “The party that abandoned the conservative independent voter.”

I have no use for the party at all...on all levels.

You wrote: Historically, 3rd party candidates have not won either. We would have 4-8 years of H€LL with Hillary. That won’t be pretty.

You are what is wrong with so-called conservative voters. Scared to death that if you vote for someone or anyone who has a chance to reverse our full charged run to Socialism it will cause the GOPe to lose votes. What do you do? Vote for the GOP! What else do you do? Remove a vote from anyone or anything that will help restore us back to the pre-60s days of LBJ and the beginning of the free-fall of freedoms and liberties we see today.

Yeah! That’s the thing...continue voting for the Republicans blindly along with the rest of the political lemmings.

I kind of expect Trump to be denied consideration at the Convention. I also expect that the rules change or the invoking of some rule that will be claimed to be an old rule will deny him. It will be done at the last minute to allow him the least amount of time possible to mount an outside-the Party campaign. Their goal is make Trump responsible for the loss of the election by Bush. A Bush loss is already determined. He does not want to be President and the gopes do not want a Republican President but if they can credibly assert that Trump is the reason for the “loss,” then all the better for the egos involved and their respective gravy trains.

This has always been my biggest fear. That the RNC would try and sabotage Trump thus electing hillary as trump goes third party.

The only way to get rid of the RNC is to first light a fire under their ass and then slowly but surely vote them out one at a time.It takes time.

Look what the corrupt did in Mississippi to defeat a conservative and keep a crony - Barbour and company used GOP money to get democrats to vote in a runoff/primary.

The GOP is NOT an ally to conservatives. The GOP is much more allied to political elitism of any label.
