“Shades of Rross Perot. He handed the 1992 election to Bill Clinton.”

“That’s mindless BS! Bush is why clinton was elected.”

Mindless BS eh?
here’s the ‘82 Election:

Bill Clinton (43.0%)
George H. W. Bush (37.4%)
Ross Perot (18.9%)

It looks to me like Perot split the vote after all.

If Bush was the third term of Reagan (he wasn’t), then Perot wouldn’t have been an option.

You’re wrong,,, even Rush said Bush would have lost with no Perot.

Apples and Ornages. Perot and Trump are not comparable.

Perot took only a portion of blue collar GOP conservatives.

Trump takes much much more from many demographics by a wide margin.

Trump does not split the vote. He takes the vote.

When you consider Perot was polling in excess of 30% at one point, it gets real interesting.

Take 5.5% off those other two guys and look at how close it was up until he wigged out.

He was still climbing at that point too.

No, bush split the vote because he did not stand for conservative values. He campaigned on the same uni party platform clinton did. Why vote for a panderer when you can have the real thing?
