The big question is, what was the Russian plane doing there in the 1st place? Trying to provoke the Turks?
No question for me. Putin was helping Assad take down his enemies. Doubt it was a provocation Nothing to be gained by it.
Any reason why that Turkish F-16 pilot couldn’t force the Russian plane out of Turkish airspace instead if in fact it was in Turkish airspace? Maybe it’s ErdoÄan govt who is provoking & emboldened by being in NATO?
Turkis govt has done plenty of kurd killings on Syrian-Turkish border too.
