Well no. The Washington Post printed a story that police in New Jersey had investigated reports that people where cheering the twin towers collapse, but no arrests were made. Trump claimed he had seen thousands and thousands of Muslims in New Jersey cheering the attack.

I was 34 when this happened. I remember seeing the footage I think Mr. trump is referring to It had interviews of Muslims all happy about the towers going down and was initially reported as local in New Jersey but it turned out to be footage from the west bank and Egypt. instead of searching the archives in a normal search I think the footage would be found by doing a strait viewing of the local reporting at the time. the reason why was that it never got recorded in the archives that it was footage from New jersey instead it is listed as West bank and Egyptian footage.

There was plenty of video footage of Muslims joyously celebrating the 9/11 attacks including dancing in the streets, constant shouting of Allah Akbar,!and handing out sweet cakes and other treats and doing the trilling la la la la victory cry that Arabs do.

It was so bad in Gaza that Yasser Arafat had to send Fatah thugs in to stop the celebrations, seize the cameras of the foreign reporters and threaten to kill them if they aired the footage or reported the celebration

Knowing he was facing a PR disaster of epic proportions with the American public Arafat then went to a hospital to be filmed donating blood to send to New York hospitals .
