The flip side, of course, is that the people on the scene have to be willing to desire this Hand to move.
People can get so “doggone” wrapped up in their own pride that they won’t let God in edgewise. Sometimes it takes a demoralizing debacle before God’s knock on the door makes sense. Maybe this episode with Barack, and now with the marauding Muslim extremists, is coming up to this point.
The media is saying that Carson and now Cruz have cornered the market on Evangelicals, but we all know how trustworthy the media is. :)
Nonetheless, I sense Trump splits the Evangelical vote with Carson / Cruz, which plays into what you’re saying about the willingness of the people on the scene to take part in what God is doing. Although not all Trump followers are Evangelical, there may just be enough Evangelicals in his camp to make a difference to God.
