Just like how Carson’s campaign was built on being a “nice guy,” which, once damaged, leads to massive loss in his support. Cruz is running on a “consistent,” “true,” conservative platform, which, once damaged, he will fall to pieces.
Just look at your average forum or comment sections, and you will see that, even if a lot of Freepers are still blinding themselves about Cruz’s record, I’m not the only soul who has noticed that Cruz is lying on issues that are the most important to conservatives. Cruz and his Dominionist, grifter father are also becoming more and more well known, and it is pretty much guaranteed that the GOPe is aware of these things.
Cruz will be kookified like Carson, and his fibs on immigration, his double-dealing, and all the other ugly still, will come to light.
It isn’t wise to run as the “only true conservative” in the race when you aren’t really.

— believes that a robust, technologically advanced, military is the best defense a country can have. Has voted to protect military funding levels and increase service member salaries.
So here is a man who checks every single box on the Reagan-conservative questionnaire and you think it’s a good idea to question his bonafides?

Once you've entered into a debate of "who is more consistent," iow, "our guy isn't totally consistent like he claims, but he usually is!", Cruz has already lost his platform. Once you insert the problem of lying, the platform is completely dead.

Ted Cruz is lying to us calling his wife a "conservative dissident" within the CFR, even though she endorsed it. It's the coverup that raises the most red flags, and provides a reason why Cruz might screw us on TPP, or might be telling Bloomberg et al. that legal status for illegal aliens is still on the table.
All of it true and easily verifiable, despite silly denials. The information has never been "discredited" by any source.

Donald Trump isn't running as the "true" conservative in the race. Ted Cruz is. That's why kookifying him and demonstrating his double talking nature on immigration renders him impotent in the face of Rubio or Jeb Bush.
That is why Cruz is a safe harbor for the RINOs to find a new and temporary "not Trump."

I saw with my eyes the print of media scumbags writing that they wished Ted Cruz would win because he was easier to take down. That’s a fact. Their attempt died after a few days. Now you get your head straight and show respect to persons that know better than you.
