CHICAGO, ILLINOIS â After a day of protests meant to shut down Black Friday shopping to bring attention to black issues, by 4:30pm local time Michigan Avenue had mostly returned to normal. Traffic had returned to the street and shoppers were out in force, but pockets of activists still remained and continued to block the entrances to business.
As the sun set in Chicago, the reality was still setting in: the Black Friday Shut Down was one of the leftâs most successful direct actions in a recent memory. It was disruptiveâbut it was peaceful. And it was effective.

We are a nation of laws.....never mind!
Success? People will see the Chicago and all the fights at stores across the country and believe black friday is a black riot day, nothing to do with finances.
Sooner or later they will have the same “success” as Detroit.
White flight followed by black rule which is even more corrupt than the current leadership.
BINGO!!! I NEVER feared a black person before like I fear them now!! They seem to be OUT OF CONTROL.....Thanks Barack!
I’m from the Chicago area and I just read that the “protests” in Chicago are being led by the Revolutionary Communist Party, a far left Maoist outfit which advocates violent revolution. Their website is www.revcom.com. Chicago Commie activist/agitator, Grant Newburger, is the man behind the scenes, directing the mobs with his bullhorn. Farrakan and his bow tie boys are also marching. Damn these leftist, radical cockroaches. They must be destroyed.
I guess when you compare it to my expectations for smashing windows, stealing merchandise, turning over cars, setting fires, and roughing people up, it was a victory. That BLM has set this low standard for success with the public is very sad indeed.
