I have very strong libertarian leanings, but I see a leader in Trump that the country needs right now. My own observation is that you (and the rest of us) should not put our faith in any politician, they always find a way to break our hearts. But Trump has the best approach to this election. It is time for Political Correctness to die and for a leader who is not beholding to the donors who put him/her in power.
Hillary is not the answer, she is part of the problem.
The GOP establishment is not the answer, they too are part of the problem.
Do not expect either part to go quietly. I expect Trump will need all of our support before this is over.
Then assault on Trump and/or Cruz, especially if either are nominated will be like nothing you’ve ever seen.

I think you are wrong about Trump, but obviously I have a pretty big bias, I was cheering him on way back in 2011 already. He was seriously toying with running way back then too.
Do you have any disagreements with any of his currently stated positions? I’m just going to guess that you probably don’t. At least not deal breaking disagreements.
Guessing again, I think your hesitation or outright opposition comes down to one very simple issue, you don’t trust him, probably for statements made in the past. I think that why most Freepers who oppose him do so.
In my book that’s a very valid reason to not support him, not to vote for him, and even oppose him.

I’m very much a hands on kind of guy. I like people who can point to a string of things they have accomplished, and Trump certainly fit that bill on day one.
Add in the more important things which he has outlined in his speeches and papers, and I have a candidate who matches up nearly all of what I am looking for.
If they looked at the surveillance of the Nazis, it had nothing to do with protecting the citizens from evil forces, it was all about protecting the evil forces of government from the citizens....
Donating to Cruz or Trump and FR are more critical than ever if we want a period of sanity.

The Trojan horse has already entered through the gates of America and discharged its cargo to the absolute glee of the Muslim President and his minions. In simple terms what that means is that we already have extreme American hating foreign fighters on our soil and the worst part of it is that they are protected by political correctness run wild.
On top of that, we are being invaded from the south with absolutely no intention of stopping it. It’s the modern day version of the ancient hordes sweeping in from the east into Europe with Genghis Khan and we sit as timid, stupid, politically correct fools and watch this happen.
The damage is already done for they are here and due to many years of brain washing our recent generations, they welcome it as diversity and sensitivity to those unlike us.
It took time, but the slow spread of the cancerous liberal disease of political correctness has finally taken its toll on our freedoms and the death of our country is very near. We only have one chance to save it and that will be the election of a true patriot and real leader to declare WAR on these invaders and use all means to do so.

There is something to add to the true Trojan Horse story you told, and that’s this;
Once President Trump (don’t we all love that phrase!) is in office, the job of rounding these guys up won’t be nearly as daunting as it might first appear.
There will be a hundred million pairs of eyes, and clever minds of an alert patriotic populace who have been ready for years to identify these anti-American criminals.
These enemies have earned the visceral hatred of American people the good old fashioned way, stealing our jobs, stealing our property, raping our daughters, our girlfriends, our wives, murdering strangers, murdering people who have shown them nothing by goodwill, murdering people who were simply there, at a stop light, walking down the street, innocent children.
The howls from the leftists about civil liberties for our sworn illegal enemies who pillage and murder at will while here in the US will be like so much sweet froasting on an already delicious cake.
That last part, the howling, will have to be enjoyed quickly by our side. No matter how loud they howl, they will fold like their EBT cards in a fire once they see the tsunami of our bile headed their way too.
Many leftists are stupid, in fact it could be argued they all are, but they will quickly recognize that they too could become the ‘civilian targets’ in what will be a movement that will wash over them, drowning them in our bile.
