The preachers - if you read to the last paragraph - have been insulted and vilified that they’ve gone all wobbly. just like some freepers have in their support of Trump. Of course, unlike we freepers, these pastors are probably afraid for their lives.
After the rumbles about not endorsing him, he knew he's set a snare for himself, and they were waiting for him. Good fix of a bad decision.
