I said it a long time ago. They will run Hill and Jeb/Rubio/Romney against Trump/Cruz.
Oh yeah. This is old news to the discerning FReeper.The only real disagreements seem to be over what to do about it.
Some advocate finding and voting for a true conservative. The small but growing caucus that I agree with is for walking away from a hopeless and corrupt electoral system. Neither approach is mutually exclusive. I suspect there will be instances where both approaches are shown to work.
That's exactly what I envision as well. If Trump/Cruz win the GOP nomination, there will be a riot in the convention the likes of which no one has ever seen. The GOPe will bolt the Party.
Then, a unity ticket will be formed from the UniParty for the sole purpose of defeating Trump/Cruz. I think the PTB will choose Hill and Rubio.
