Even as the authorities say they remain uncertain what precisely led a gunman to attack a Planned Parenthood facility in Colorado Springs on Friday, a comment attributed to the suspect by a senior law enforcement official -- "no more baby parts" -- fed directly into an already high-pitched controversy over Planned Parenthood and its practices.
The phrase was an eerie echo of language used by politicians here and in many state capitals since an anti-abortion group began releasing its undercover videos of Planned Parenthood officials discussing possible donations of fetal tissue for medical research.

Five congressional committees have been investigating Planned Parenthood since a California-based anti-abortion group called the Center for Medical Progress in July started posting 11 videos online, one at a time over several months, purporting to show that Planned Parenthood was trafficking in "baby parts" for profit. Planned Parenthood has denied that.
John A. Boehner resigned as House speaker days after creating a special committee to investigate Planned Parenthood, other abortion providers and tissue procurement businesses. His decision to quit was forced by hard-line conservatives' credible threat to unseat him for refusing to lead a government shutdown over Planned Parenthood funding. His successor, Representative Paul D. Ryan of Wisconsin, did not address the shootings over the weekend. But a spokesman, Brendan Buck, said on Sunday that the tragedy would not change the investigating committee’s plans.
On Saturday, Senator Barbara Boxer, Democrat of California, called on Mr. Ryan to disband the special House committee investigating Planned Parenthood. "It is time to stop the demonizing and witch hunts against Planned Parenthood, its staff and patients, and the lifesaving health care it provides to millions every day," she said.

The cops mentioned Chase Bank. But it was only by way of telling the dispatcher (and the rest of the force) where they were.
They were in front of Chase Bank, about 700 feet south by southeast of PP, taking fire from the shooter.
There was never any allegation that the shooter tried to rob Chase or either of the two other banks as the location.
Murdering several thousand innocent children a day doesn't "add challenges" to Congress, why would this ?
Check out the corpses of infants piled up every day and you'll notice that it's about 60% black infants. Which pretty well proves that the whole "black lives matter" line of trash is nothing but media propaganda backed by community organizers and thugs.
The real issue in the eyes of the NYT is that if people running the infanticide machine are afraid the machinery slows down.
I find it more likely he was going to rob a bank than he targeted Planned Parenthood. I think he ended up there more by chance than design.
Having wall-to-wall coverage here in Southern Co, the MSM (CNN, FOX, KOAA, KTTV) all were very careful to say “long gun”. The shooting happened mostly 700 feet south of PP, in the King Soopers complex. All of the most serious injuries and death occurred there. I suppose the Chase Bank could be construed as part of the KS complex.
One he got to PP, no injuries inside occurred. It appears that PP was just a building that he had no interest in, and just used as sanctuary. The “Planned Parenthood Shooting” meme is complete bullsh|t, and in no way is representative of what really happened, which is that no PP employee or “patient” was injured inside the building.

When the shooting started, the PP folks disappeared behind a locked door and bullet-proof glass. The shooter, meanwhile, found himself facing the CSPD, at a distance, initially. The shooter was really lousy at planning. If he were competent, he would not have done it.
PP had moved from a location in Old Colorado City, due to protests.
