Reminds me of Psalm 73, waters of abundance are drained by them. Some editions of the bible mark this as an unclear phrase, but there’s not much unclear about it. That’s the psalmist’s way of talking about arrant BS. It’s a drama that has been going on as long as there has been a world, and will keep on going until it ends.
Go for God, and you’ll weather the storm. Otherwise you are in danger of getting fascinated to the point of losing your bearings. The world sins. That’s part of the meaning of world. The world has a choice now. That’s part of the meaning of God so loved the world.
Basically in his little fantasy world, Zero fancies himself the Hero. Some may be persuaded; but others, not.
It’s a test to the entire world, that reveals just how ugly and silly it can get under circumstances that permit it.
We do not need to go for that ourselves or even let it make us wonder and marvel.
